Hi there i was wondering if anyone is from the Midlands area on here. I have just joined the forum, would be interesting to see if anyone are from my neck of the woods.
I think I'm classed as south west midlands. No-one can decide if we're midlands or south west here in Gloucestershirrre Hi!
Hi Fingermouse, Sounds like you are kind of on the border there! I am actually to and from Birmingham and /worcester. I work in worcester and mainly socialise in birmingham on the weekends. I have never been to Gloucestershire, what is life like there? I have been to Bristol a few times which i believe i go via gloucester to get there. I love Bristol
Ah my husband works in Malvern so we're in Worcestershire quite a bit too Glos is ok, I live in Cheltenham which is really nice with lots to do, but Gloucester smells like rubbish dumps and seagull poo Yeah Bristol can be fun Whats Birmingham like? I've only ever passed through
I'm from Milton Keynes and no one here can decide where we are. Some say it is a fall out from London. Others say it is East Anglia. Others say it is the South. Personally I think it is on another planet.
haha i like the replies. No I'm not lookin to chop limbs off or eat anyone. Birmingham is ok, it has a coulple of good places in Digbeth or Moseley (south Brum). But i love Bristol. My Sister lives there so i go down as frequent as i can. The seagulls can be apest even in worcester. At night time there are loads circulating the sky and dropping poo bombs on te town. I have had a few close encounters but always managed to stay poo free! haha.
hiya i am from herefordshire + am quite often in worcester . close your eyes in worcester and you'd think you were at the seaside the amount of gulls :S there is a few of us dotted about by the sound of it xx
i here herfordshire is like a mini worcester? its the first time i have moved from the city to a "country town" like worcester. took a while of getting used to. So Velvet Smoke where you normally go when you are in worcester? clubs or pubs etc.. i been to most places now. Firefly, Hereoes, Mode. Mars bar etc..
depends what ur into Smelly I like the drum and bass nights and the drop beats not bombs nights they have at the Rainbow Warehouse. Digbeth has lots of graffiti artists that spray around the area and they work in some of the clubs doing art work inside. I love that sort of thing. Digbeth is not done up all commercial like the broad street or the arcadian or mail box and nor does it try to cater for that crowd, Digbeth is alot more creative, low key and music orientated.
