Cool you people are here.. just keep checking with me to see what's going on. MY plan is to move to St. John's AZ living out on the grid with a lady I have been talking to for about a year now. I do Reiki Healing and I make goat milk soap. I want to go to fairs and festivals to sell the soap. I am waiting for SSI appeal so I am around and check in from time to time. Anyone want to go out on the grid?
I'm not from IN; but I just had to say how weird it is that here in SC the cities of Anderson and Greenwood are very close.
Yes there are similaritites. My dad lives in Darlington. Way cool place. all country... well talk peeps. that is what we are here for, talk about anything you want:2thumbsup:
Hi Babsie, I'm off the grid except for electric. I have my own water well and burn renewable firewood for heat. I could live off a small generator, solar panel and batteries but my son's and their mom are energy hogs. I could live off a couple of deer, garden, orchard and greenhouse veggies for most of the year. I had chickens but the neighbors lab killed them all while I was at work. Broke the door off the coop!

I have a pick up truck but if you have a camper way cool. Split expenses please.:sunny: This trip is to stay there for a couple weeks and get a feel of the place and decide if I want to be a part of this off grid community. If you prefer a motel in town they are about 25 minutes away.
