Anyone find being Barefoot in public erotic?

Firstly let me point out that I know this post is kinda creepy and no, I do not have a foot fetish (that I'm aware of ) - yeah sure I find barefoot girls sexy but I'm talking about me.
Does anyone else find barefooting in public kind of erotic? I can't describe it other than a sexy feeling. Am I the only one? I perhaps should keep this to myself and this post will probably attract the trolls :troll:, but I was curious.

Behavior that is even a tad unusual (relative only to what the majority does, i.e., non-normative) can certainly be felt by the individual as daring, naughty, "shouldn't really do this." There is NOTHING wrong with bare feet. Bare feet, come warm weather, are EVERYWHERE. But most bared feet come with a shoe-sole, unlike "ours" (those of barefooters) that are entirely bare, and thus provide that powerful zone of physical sensation (which is why we bother to go barefoot at all). So the socially unusual (different from the pack) gets bundled with the physiology involed and---BINGO!

It's a very hot feeling, especially if I'm getting thrown out of a place or trying one I haven't been to barefoot. Especially if the bottoms of my feet get black. I guess it is true you think of it as forbidden, which in a way it often is.

I have to agree I find it kind it almost as liberating as streaking. I was in school and seeing a naked foot back then was almost like seeing a bare breast. But hey I'm okay being a little weird.

 

I feel a bit naked when I walk barefoot in public. And I must admit that it's great fun.

For me, absolutely, especially if I am somewhere where bare feet are not normally seen or if my feet are really dirty. And if I am barefoot and topless trhat is something else again. Normally I pick the time and place for taking my shirt off but that has just changed.
On Friday for some reason my injured foot flared up again, so it was put back in a moon boot and I was told to use crutches full time (normally I just use them if it is particularly painful). So here I am with my good foot bare as is quite common and the boot on my damaged one. But by the end of the day for some reason the rubber pads on the top of my crutches had gripped my shirt and rubbed the top of my ribcage just under my armpits totally raw, to the extent that I just could not walk on them at all. I called my specialist and expalned what was happening as I was going away for the weekend and wanted to check if walking on the boot without the crutches would be ok. He said absolutely not. I MUST use them and put no weight on my foot until I can see him next week. His solution was that I take the rubber pads off the top of the crutches, take my shirt off and with just the smooth plastic tops rubbing against my bare skin there would be basically no friction, and that after a week of being topless it should fix it. So my problem is that I find going out topless and barefoot quite arousing, and here I am having to spend an entire week like this. Two days into it and I have to say that apart from the cold (it is autumn here) I am quite enoying it, and the comments I get. When it is 5 degress outside and you go into bank with dried mud from you friends driveway on your bare foot and present that and your bare chest to the teller, the conversarions are quite interstin. That particular girl thought the barefoot barechested look in cold weather looked cool!

 

Glad I'm not the only one. It's one of those questions I've always wanted to ask but not quite been brave enough for; and yes thinking about it the more dirty I am the more it feels that way. Personally it's a really odd feeling and as I said hard to describe. Even amoungst the most casual of barefooters there seems to be a lot of pschology going on, I didnt realise I was so deep, heck I'll be talking philosophy next

I agree, and having spent the last two days barefoot and topless the partially naked feel is accentuated. I am really enjoying being forced to go in public literally half-naked. It's great that you've had the courage to raise this topic, Madesh, which seems to be taboo in some barefoot forums. I certainly get mildly erotically excited when I step outside the front door barefoot, especially if I'm not taking any back-up footwear with me. Even more so the colder it gets.
Some years ago I made a barefoot international rail and sea journey without taking any footwear with me. All the possible problems with borders and hotels made me rather nervous but also very excited about the thought of being hundreds of miles away from my nearest footwear. I suppose it was like throwing away all one's shoes, at least temporarily. In the event there were no problems except for one restaurant. I'd love to do the same thing in winter when there'd be the added danger of really cold weather. I can also get excited when reading other barefooters' accounts of their barefoot journeys.

You know, to describe someone who is so damaged by today's society and it's silly taboos that they associate taking shoes off with being naked and "naughty".

If you think about how this sort of fascination comes about, it's really quite pathetic, and not what we have this forum to discuss, I think.

 

Hi, I'm "Jon The Barefoot Pilgrim" who wrote the article A Barefoot Rhapsody on hippy.com. Personally I don't think there's anything more beautiful than a barefoot hippy chick in a long flowing dress. It doesn't matter if she's normally considered plain or not, in this style she is erotic and sensual. That's what I tried to get across in the piece.
