i feel as though the Democratic party which i have always supported is , as the GOP says, out of touch with the American people. They have no new ideas and are just out to bash President Bush. Dont get me wrong, im not a huge Bush fan, but the answer to the President is not to oppose everything he does, but to also find some new ideas. We need somebody charismatic and intelligent to bring this party back to where it was. It is as if liberal has such a dirty connotation these days....not to mention, one of the cores of the democratic party....blacks.....are beginning to lean away from the party. when that happens you know something is wrong. I dont know, maybe im just rambling, but i wish a new FDR, JFK, or Clinton would come around so as to lead the Democracts back to where they belong.....the majority and the white house......g-d knows hillary will not be the one to do it.....Obama '12?
I don't think it matters who is elected at this point, whether Democrat or Republican (two sides of the same coin). I see things only getting progressively worse in this country. I think 9/11 was the real turning point, and until you understand the reality of what happened in 9/11, you're not going to understand the direction in which we are headed. Again, presidents are nothing more than puppets for a force much greater than themselves. People have no clue how it all works, and that presidents don't get elected unless they are "chosen," and not by the public, but the unelected elite. There is never going to be anybody elected to office who has the country's best interests in mind. It just does not work that way.
i agree with some things, bgut i think ur being too cynical at the same time. im sure everyone who is elected has the country's best interests in mind...but they're politicians and there is no way to get around it....i think these people are patriots though
Why do you even bother to preach your simple-minded conspiracy theories if you don't have any practical solutions to anything, other than "wake up"?
Barack Obama is the man. I was on the floor of the DNC for his speech, and I was amazed. He will be making a presidential or vice presidential run in the near future, mark my words.
Why do you believe they have the country's best interests in mind? Is it because that is what the media makes you believe? I really don't see how people who have done so much to sell this country and its people out have the country's best interests in mind.
Kandahar - If anyone is simple-minded, frankly, I think it's you. So much of what I read from you is simply rhetoric that appears to come straight from the pages of the New York Times. I rarely see anything I would call original thought in your threads. Simple-minded is to believe everything you are presented at face value, even when there is evidence that contradicts official media reports. Also, do you have any solutions to offer? I honestly don't think there are any "practical solutions." It seems like everybody's idea of "practical solutions" are solutions involving the legislative process, which has been totally corrupted.
I agree with Rat on this one. Anyone who believes that government is on the level has got to be incredibly naive. The system is so corrupt that they don't even bother to try to put on pretenses anymore. And I am by no means a Democrat. I can see through the "two-party" smokescreen... but I am intrigued at the idea of Hilary in the oval office. The office of the President can be very powerful indeed when weilded by the right kind of leader. We haven't had one like that in quite a while...but I'm not sure she wouldn't be that type of leader. At the very least, I'd love to vote for a woman and a black man. Fuck the whitemale-ocracy.
That doesn't answer the question. Why do you continue to peddle your theories if you admit you have no solutions, and no way to apply these theories to the real world? Your only solution seems to be yelling at everyone who disagrees with you to "wake up" (...not that you'd actually want people to agree with you). You simply don't care about solving what you perceive as a problem. You just want the world to be more interesting than it actually is, full of illuminati and secrets of freemasonry. If somehow you became convinced tomorrow that the New World Order had collapsed overnight, you wouldn't rejoice at the opportunity for new political freedom, you'd just move on to a new theory from the Weekly World News. Government has been remarkably effective at shaping our society. Whether that is good or bad is a matter of debate, but don't tell me that you can't change things through the legislative process.
Kandahar, First of all, these are not "my theories." These are commonly accepted beliefs amongst those who have studied global government and New World Order politics. Contrary to what you might believe, this is not just limited to conspiracy kooks, but also professors, historians, political analysts, economists, etc.. Try reading something by Antony Sutton or Carrol Quigley (Clinton's former mentor).... far from what you would call "conspiracy theorists." Your problem is that you like to automatically pass everything off as a conspiracy theory, without ever having done any research into any of it. You simply go based on what you think you know and want to know. The things I talk about are real. Global government is real. The New World Order is real. Whether you believe in it or not, many people do.
As I eluded in one of my earlier posts, nobody's going to be happy until everybody's happy. Well, maybe it wasn't so poignant, but it's what we have to face. Wars may have been sufferable in certain sectors of our history, but have become increasingly ineffectual over time. It won't be long before we'll have to face the inevitable, We'll have to put up with each other. Conspiracies, bureaucracies, and even ideologies will have to be reformed to meet the standards of the 'New World Order'. But in a very short time. I feel, we will all be much more comfortable when we see all countries responding in the same way to the same stimuli. Whether it be Democracy, Socialism, or Communism (I wouldn't place too many bets on the latter), petty differences in social domination may be the least of our worries. In this case, however, I would like to think axioms such as the ones the Democratic candidate hopefuls harbor might be a predominant factor in our restructured culture.
Quite frankly, I'm even more tired of the Republicans than I am of the Democrats. We need some Democrats with guts.
I'm a Republican and sometimes I even gotta agree wth that. We once had the party of Lincoln and Roosevelt(Teddy, not Franklin) and now moderate, liberal and true conservative Republicans see the party being overtaken by religious fanatics.
Right on. Neither party remotely resembles what it once was. The republican party I once belived in supported the US CONSTITUTION first and foremost. Now, they go down the same road as the democrats, flushing our freedoms down the toilet, deferring to "world opinion" in matters of US policy, and placing corporate interests above that of the country. The government serves the people, nor vice versa. As the authors of the Constitution believed-all rights and freedoms come from God, and no man has the right to abridge them. "He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security." -Benjamin Franklin
I agree, for thousands, millions of years, all governments have done is opress their people, why do people think anything has changed now? Power Corrupts and Absolute power corrupts absolutely, period. Peace and Love, Dan
sorry rat, but I've gone to some of the websites about the illuminati with an open mind, thinking "eh, maybe". But the sites never fail to have ludicrous claims that shapeshifting lizard-extraterrestrials are in control, and that those "strange towers that are popping up everywhere" (which are for sending and receiving cell phone signals by the way) are MIND CONTROL TOWERS!!! SHIT! So anyway, like the bible, these theories can't be taken literally. There is a controlling elite however. They are somewhat hidden I suppose, though not well. It's not some committee with plans to destroy borders and make a single, world totalitarian government. They are the rich high upper class - the CEOs and copiously rich, who's money is appealing enough for corrupted politicians to sleep with them, so to speak. And lets face it, any politician that is doesn't have the support of the super-rich elite isn't going to go anywhere. So there's some truth to your theories, rat, but most of them go beyoned being even extreme, to just being plain retarded.
But how can you tell me what is true and what isn't true when you have no real facts to refute what you claim to be ridiculous and, as you so eloquently put it, "retarded"? I have been researching this for years when, based on reading what you just wrote, you have glanced at maybe a handful of websites of varying credibility, then formed an opinion based on that alone. (And when have I ever mentioned anything about shape-shifting reptilians?) So because you say something "is this way" or "isn't that way," I am supposed to just go along with you, as if you possess some kind of higher knowledge on these topics? Of course you can't believe everything you read. That is a given. But, through the extensive reading and research I have done, I have found the things I talk about to be absolutely true. There IS a group of incredibly powerful elitists who DO want a world government, and they DO want total control. If you were aware of what is going on in the world, you would see that there are steps being taken to erode the sovereignty of sovereign nations more and more everyday -- and it's not just in this country, but many countries. I even have quotes taken from some of these elitists, where they even admit they want a world government with their own mouths! Your theory (if you can call it that), while sounding much more sane based on the reality the mainstream media has created for us, isn't even half the truth. Next time, before you speak, you should really have some knowledge of what you're talking about, instead of just assuming like most people in this forum, who think they hold all the answers and that the world is exactly the way they see it with their own eyes.
OK Rat, please tell us about some of the research you have done. Tell us about the people you have interviewed who have had contact with these illuminati. Tell us about how you went to the Pentagon on 9/11/01 and searched the rubble for an airplane but couldn't find one. Oh wait, you haven't done any of that. Stop pretending like you have done "research." All you have done is read rumors, circumstantial evidence, and one-man testimonies off of websites like Rense with questionable integrity at best, and accepted it as gospel without even the least bit of skepticism. And don't tell me that you DO question these websites, because your posts on these boards have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that you do not. On at least two or three separate occasions, you have posted articles that have proven to be demonstrably false. When you're forced to backpedal and admit that the article may not be true, you STILL won't question the integrity of the source. You'll just post another article from the same source a few weeks later, as though nothing had happened.
world order is part of the modern world not just 911 but computers got a lot to do with it as more computers runs more chances of a single main controler. right now we enjoy the last few years of privacy life soon you well have none.
** But, through the extensive reading and research I have done, I have found the things I talk about to be absolutely true. No Rat you just believe them to be true because they fit in with your viewpoint. All you are really presenting is what you believe is the truth as seen from your right wing perspective someone from another perspective may see things completely differently. Also a lot of things you present as ‘fact’ are just supposition innuendo and opinion, and again these are all coloured by his right wing views. If a person thinks there is a conspiracy they will most likely find evidence for one. That is because that is what he or she wants. In other words it will not matter just how convoluted, illogical, abstract, irrational, weird or even down right stupid it may seem a person will believe it because it fits in with what they think. It doesn’t matter how many years you have research your ‘conspiracy’ it is the quality of the research and the methodology used in it that has to be questioned. This is clear from what you have posted so far to support your theories. Time and again they do not stand up to scrutiny. What is worse is that many times you do not stand by them or even try to defend them when they are criticised. However you do begin insulting the people making the criticisms so they become stupid, ignoramuses, or "lice-infested" hippies who don’t have your insight. However it is becoming increasingly obvious to many that your ‘proofs’ still go undefended. You seem always to be shouting about how you know the truth and that what you say IS fact. But it is increasingly obvious that there is no reason to believe you except for your own conviction. You don’t seem to be trying to persuade people you just want to tell them and for them to accept you at your word. So rather than the teacher you claim to be you are more like the Nazis leaders that you claim only others are.
