Anyone else gonna work next couple days?

I am gonna work Monday and after doing the whole famdamily dinner crap I am going to do a little work here at the house to get caught up.

 

Not till Wednesday

 

Happy for ya, mine was a choice but felt sorta like I needed to. I feel bad for people who want time off and cant get it, sucks!

 

I can always get time off, i just don't get paid for it

 

Same here. I work for me but doing service for others so maybe I work for them, hmm I am so confused now.

 

i have tomorrow off although, if it gets busy with tunes i may get called in...but i do work christmas YAY!...i dont think ive had a full christmas off in 5 years or more...

 

I'm off 'til after new years.

 

Thats cuz they love you in a Christmas hat and are trying to get them white hairs started on ya!

Hubby's off until Wednesday.

 

Over here, Christmas is just another day. I'm lucky enough to be off today 'cos there was a National Election yeaterday so today is a National Holiday to give people a chance to travel back to their place of work. But after today, it's work as usual. Not a santa or a Christmas tree in sight.

I'm not supposed to work tomorrow, but I think I'll put 4 hours in because there extra money couldn't hurt and I got nothing better to do.

Ain't working on Tuesday though... gettin' payed for sitting on my ass too.

my dad always had to work any day that didn't fall on his assigned rest days. that's because of the kind of job he had, everybody did. he got double time and a half for working them though, and we just had our holidays on whatever days off he had that were close enough to them.

my 'days' and 'work' are pretty much the same, whatever else is going on in the rest of the world, other then the extra 'work' it takes preparing to have people over and make a big deal out of it to make them happy for 'holy' days.

I don't go to my workplace, but I'll have to do some paperwork at home in the meantime.

 

Well I was going to work today but after last nights little trip Im draggin and likely will say "NOT" I might diddle here and there but not real work.
