I've been able to make my whole body kind of 'tingle'. Its something hard to describe but its something that I know is there, because I can do it at will. Its like I use the same will power that I use to move my fingers or make a thought in my head. Its not even a feeling, but I can do it and I know that it is there. The thing about it is that I can do it HARD or at a higher level (though I have to hold my breathe while doing it) and when I do I notice my body may start shaking. Is this something that all people can do? I tried doing it yesternight while meditating and its pretty hard to hold it. Actually doing it for a while makes me kind of tired. Its a feeling that is very subtle and hard to explain. Anyone know about it?
What you are feeling is normal and called a higher vibrational state. As your true self starts to separate from your physical shell or body you will get the sensations of higher vibrations while still in the body. And yes it can be tiring if you do not make the separation and draw energy from source. RT
Absolutely, Just remember that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but we are actually spiritual beings having a human experience. If you remember this always things will be much easier for your. Good luck Bro..... RT
it could be vibrational state, or you could intuitively know how to do something sometimes called "charging", where you can activate large quantities of psychic energy locally by inducing and cancelling a movement signal... come to think of it, these might be one and the same...
either that or your gathering or projecting a fuck-ton of energy. Personaly if you have to hold your breath to do it at a higher level then your probably projecting. Just a thought.
When I started doing a type of meditation ("NEW"), I'd feel tingling pretty often. However, after doing this over the long run, the feeling goes away. I am thinking it might be resistance you are sensing. I still get it in my chakras though, if I focus on them.
I've also experience this "tingling"... since I've taken into practicing Astal Projection though not very serious, but basically if you know nothing about it your suppost to be completely relaxed(thats pretty vage btw) which eventually you feel the "vibrations" and blah blah... but anyways this "tingling" I believe is an effect of being or going into a light trance. My advise if you want any, try to go deeper by not thinking about it all. Oh well that's my diagnosis for you.
when i first started speaking truth to what was then relative to me, power, at an age far younger then is ever considered proper in any culture that i know of, my experience was one of feeling a kind of electrical 'tingling all over'. i do not know, cannot of course with any certainty, if this is the same as that refered to, but this is something i have experienced, and it did not feel like an emotional sensation but an entirely physiological one, with possibly a nonmaterial connection. =^^= .../\...
Yes Since training as a healer the energy causes my hands to tingle a lot.... Lately I met a woman on a forum. She asked me to tune into her and send some energy.....which I did. I noticed during the sending, my nipples started to tingle a lot... ...when I told her, she laughed and said that was the most sensitive part of her body.... ...we met on a sex and relationship forum.... lol
Completely familiar with this tingling feeling, can control it do different sensual levels when lying in bed at night after a good session.. sometimes it can lead to acid flashbacks and that in itself presents full body tingling sensations.
Were you a monk in your last life.... or is it just that hooded top you are wearing... monks dont smoke dope....do they... maybe you were a reformist??? still are I'd say..
wow, that was an exact description of what happens to me. i've always done this but never thought it was anything like you guys described. anybody have a link or something I can follow to learn more? thanks
are you talking about a tingling that climbs your spine and resonates throughout your body? i also expirience tingling, and can expirience it at will. it is energy. you can tune in and hold onto it. like sexbanshee said, focusing it in the hands is a what energy healers do. there is also a more intence tingling (or pulsating rather) that i think realtruth is getting at, that occurs before astral seperation. i wouldnt call it tingling myself though, its a more intence(often uncomfortable) vibrating throughout the body that i assume is taking place on an energetic level. (though i cant say for sure where, only that its not a physical vibrating) though maybe these are just varying degrees of the same phenomenon. i dont know at this point, im out of practice.
Okay, that's enough! I've had all I can take of this tingling talk! I don't feel any "tingling" feeling like you describe, and it's pissing me off big time. Are you folks making this stuff up? Am I just weird, or what?
Then prepare for the shock of your life... Okay seriously, I've had tingling of various sorts. I get frequent tingling in my root chakra, and rare tingling in my crown chakra. I know where the root chakra tingling comes from--that's my angels/witches either trying to get my attention or trying to soothe my evil moods. The crown chakra tingling--well, that's from the universe at large, isn't it? But I haven't had any tingling like what you folks are talking about. At least, I don't think I have. Maybe I have and didn't notice it...seems unlikely, though...
zen I get what you get... tingles and twitches below and above lol Maybe some of the guys sensations are different cos they are drug related... Maybe the tingles are more pronounced somehow?
I dunno nuthin, sexbanshee. LOL I had a brief but intense relationship with a woman a couple years ago, and she started telling me she was getting warmth in her stomach all the damn time, and she knew it was coming from me. Well, I was getting warmth in my stomach all the damn time, too, and I knew it had something to do with her. Most of the tingling I get is from connections with others. Don't know nuthin about this spinal tingling. Drug-related? Could be. The hardest drugs I use these days are coffee and vodka. No tingling there, I'm afraid.
Okay, I need to mention that I've heard of a phenomenon in meditation that sounds a bit like what you guys are talking about. It supposedly happens after sometimes years of meditation. Ummm...there's a term for it, but I forget the word...I'll look it up and get back to you...
