Kia Ora Ni Hao! I have had one full out of body experience, and it happened spontaneously during a sleep paralysis episode. I listen to Coast to Coast AM every morning, and this is a topic that comes up often. I would love to have that experience again, and apparently some people are able to enter this state on demand. Is anyone able to enter this state on a consistent basis? Where do you go when you have an OBE? I just floated around the room, absolutely certain and terrified that I had died. Needless to say that at the time I was more worried than joyful. Any tips? Cheers!
I also enjoy listening to coast to coast am and the testimony of some claimants we're quite remarkable I’ve tried astral projection, OBE, and remote viewing with limited success, the later following the teachings of Major Ed Dames (U.S. Army Retired) who worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as a psychic spy. Apparently he along with a cabal of clairvoyants were taught to locate persons and places via the astral plane Hotwater
i read psychic warrior by david morehouse around 1998- 99ish..it was one of the most interesting books i have ever come across..
This is not so much a demand, as moving your awareness. First to answer your question...Yes. second, Depending on how one is taught to do these things, or discovers by accident their own natural ability, the process begins within the intent. The intent with visualization co-creates the energy that moves through one as naturally as breathing. What causes difficulty is the fear and doubts one enters into. Each of these places OBE, Astral projection, and remote viewing have different vibrations much like two songs have different sequences of notes. The energy vibration steers the individual in the direction of the experience they are going for. Because the vibrational patterns use similar energy one can over lap the separate experiences getting a much clearer view. For example when looking for a missing person the more information you get the quicker the case is solved. The other thing is some people are natural at building symbols around what they are trying to accomplish on a subconscious level. When you know these symbols you can call to you the experience with more focused intent. One does not need symbols to enter the experiences. A persons beliefs affect, or effect the depth and level one can go and how far they go. Because the mind is the beginning of all pollution we each individually have the ability to move the intent by how we imagine, perceive, or enter the expectation and fears surrounding the experiences. To call forth the experience start with a clean slate so to speak, a focused intent, and be where you wish to go. You do much the same with shape shifting. In the channeling class I teach one of the people said, "Oh I get it, we have to get out of our way. Once we start censoring the information, or get lost in the doing, we loose focus." This is one of the challenges most people have. They become afraid of that which they think controls them. This is not about control, but about breathing, moving with the energy vibration and not against it. Some dreams are fertile ground for these experiences because the individual is out of the way and more open to the individual vibration. Some drugs can open a person to these experiences as well. What you are doing is painting a picture, or putting a puzzle together. So collect the information and come back to to put it all together. Here is another example, barefooted, when I read your question I saw a closet door. Inside the closet I saw this psychedelic colored shirt with faces on it, laying beside some other shirts. You do not seem to be the only one who wears or has worn this shirt. The eyes on one of the people looked like they could see me. I heard this band playing and felt the drum. It was just an image I got. The vibration was interesting.
Kia Ora Ni Hao! Thank everyone who has added their unique pieces of knowledge to this discussion. I can tell that there are some Coast to Coast listeners on this thread too Cheers!
Here is another unique piece of knowledge: This sounds like it can be very simply tested. Under strict scientific conditions (double blind study and peer reviewed open study). Now if it can be very easily tested ask yourself why hasn't it? (once again, double blind, peer reviewed, open studies that allow other scientists to repeat the tests) Now on the flip side, Here is an explenation: its a possibility that its all fake. do i have proof? yes i do! just youtube derren brown, he has successfully replicated claims made by people who say they can do remote viewing, he just explains how he did it using trickery. so we have MANY unsubstantiated claims on one side and a perfectly logical (more boring i guess) explanation on the other side of the table. which side do you stand on?
You sound like a zealot. I'm always skeptical of zealots. Let's try doing some exercises in logic... The fact that Person A can replicate something done by Person B, only Person A does it by means of trickery, does not lead to the logical conclusion that Person B also did it by means of trickery. It simply means that Person A found a way to do it by trickery. We still don't know how Person B did it. The fact that nobody has done double-blind experiments to prove the validity of remote-viewing claims does not logically imply that remote-viewing claims are phony. It simply means that nobody has done any double-blind experiments. Why? Maybe nobody has had any interest in doing any. Maybe it would be too hard to design a valid experiment. Maybe it would be hard to round up volunteers for the experiment. That's just a few reasonable thoughts that immediately leaped into my own mind. You want to do an experiment? Go ahead!
