I lived in Modeato all my life. Personally I hate it. Not a very friendly town (I guess that depends all on the eye of the beholder). Not lots of stuff to do on a Saturday night in less you want to hang out with the kids who go to the junior collage at the theater.
When I left San Francisco at the tail end of my spring break I stopped off in Modesto to visit friends. It's growing because the Bay Area is expanding. My friends don't like living there either. It's hot and dry and it has an increasing crime rate... especially car jacking. I wouldn't want to live there.
Modesto is in Central Cali and is mainly a farming community. I live in Cali if you want to know where places are.
man thats the armpit of cali. tweekers and jerry springer rejects, i lived in ceres for like 4? years. the best part about it was its a good centrel location, you can go to the beach, go up to the snow, cruise through the desert. whatever you feel like and its pretty much a day trip
hello i live in escalon, very small town. i like it better then modesto, getting to bi g and dirty, love it way better then ceres, i lived there for 5 yrs, and it is a pit. tweekers unite.lol. but i love it out in country, with out the crap. nice meeting u all ....
Hey Hello everyone. I seen a couple trailors in Modesto goin for 15K with park space rents as low as $350. Thats not too bad is it? Im realy interested in moving out there and growin medical herbs. If I were to move out there could I expect to be able to live in my trailor, grow my herbs and sell my exes to a nearby medical club for a livin? Is it excepted socialy? Is it half normal out there? I already found a couple trailors that I could afford but could I really expect to be able to do this?
It is a pretty safe bet to say no to growing herb in a trailer park anywhere in California, even if you got a medical card here (one from another state won't work). I am guessing that most trailer parks will be a no go because of kids, etc. so you might think about finding a rental out in the country, but most leases state that you will not grow, possess or distribute any illegal substances. I realize that if you have a medical card it is not illegal to you, however it is still considered illegal to your landlord. Maybe you can find an herb friendly landlord.... Good luck!
See Im tryin to get the feel for things out there. That just seems kinda wild that a trailor joint where ya own yer trailor but rent the lot would put a stipulation in their trailor park code that states that ya cant grow medicinal herbs even when ya got a dr's note statin that ya need the herb for med porposes. But is this what they do?
