You misunderstood my meaning... I meant that, as with GNR and Papa Roach, I didn't like Tenacious D, when I first heard them. But after hearing them repeatedly, they grew on me. I wasn't saying that they sound like GNR and PR, I was saying that I didn't like GNR and PR when I first heard them, but they grew on me after hearing them repeatedly, like TD. Make sense now?
