i've followed bruce springsteen for close to 40 years and have seen him 300+ times in concert. it always amazes me that more young fans aren't out there for the best live act on the planet. when i do meet younger fans who get to see him for the first time. they usually become fanatics. i realize that to you, this may be your parents' music ...but so are the beatles, the dead and dylan. i'd love to hear any opinions that you have about bruce. deezee
Personally I cannot stand him. I can't really explain why... maybe because to me it sounds like he's mumbling. I went to a Farm Aid once when i was a kid (i went with my aunt & unkle), saw him and Melloncamp (and others) and never got into him then. Still can't. But hey that's my opinion. You can love him all you want. Me, I'm going to catch up on music made before I was born. I will say he is a good guitar player and knows how to write.
+300 shows?! Awesome. Anyhoo... Bruce is amazing. I have a friend who's obsessed about Bruce's music, and he kinda "brainwashed" me into liking him as well. Alltho it didn't need much brainwashing... I get good vibes everytime I listen to his music!
