Is anybody from that area in touch with the folks at the Suflower Farm up by State College? They still do their big ol' Harvest Fest/Party/Rainbow Friendly Thingy with Loud Music in October? We're close enough we might could make that.

The first rainbow event I ever went to was a weekend party at a farm owned by a brother named Chuck with a long dready beard. That was in the area there. No contact info and that was a long time ago. :)

chickstock shouldnt exactly be called a rainbow event..theres no rainbow coincensus to hold the event, its in no way affiliated with tyhe rainbow family exceot that chucjk himself is a rainbow and a handful of rainboes go and put up a rainbow kitchen..
its rainbow freindky in that there are rainbvows there.. but its 90% drunken locakl kids
its a good timeas far as fests go but it is not affililated with the unioficial rainbow family in any way except that s few go..and sinvcde a few rainbows attend pepsistock and setup a kitchen there and at other fests or disasters oir in crack hoods or whstever doesnt make these rainbow events but side prijects or events put ion by rainbow indivifuals
on the oither hand local potlucks and picnics started by local family councils and giverned by concensus can be called rainbow events

its a small distinctuon wether a kitchen or group chouses to act on behalf of the local family or theyre individual selves or groups

for instance the kitchen that doesnt want theyre name online but that isnt ownded or operated by nobody (hi8nt) when sharing food for minths at a time in a underperiveledged area would nevber mentioin or suggest they were actunfg as part of or on behalgf if the rainbow family insrtead operated as an individual kitchgen that on ocassion shared foofd at a gathering

ofcourse they had the option being a group of more then 3 who held councils and riled by conmcensus to claim a food sharing project was a rainbow event
provided the main family council didnt block that distinction
(case in piont the peace conspiracyt gathering of the tribes cannot claim to be a rainboeww event no matyter how hard they try making it seem they are)

sorry just clarifying not jumoin all over ya :)

ot is a great rainbioe freindky event..and some rainbows bring theyre kjids but the loud musuv ()(24 hoiurs a day, it never lets u rest( and drunken teens maybe lil roiuygh for kids although the kitcjen is in a hiddejn sunlkhole quiet and the kuds live being theree

    WHAT???
    Allegheny..

During the Adena culture, Mound Builders erected a large Indian Mound at McKees Rocks, about three miles from the head of the Ohio. The Indian Mound, a burial site, was augmented in later years by members of the Hopewell culture.[4]

    Others:
Shannopin's Town, a Seneca tribe village on the east bank of the Allegheny, was the home village of Queen Aliquippa, but was gone after 1749. Chartier's Town was a Shawnee town. Sawcunk, on the mouth of the Beaver River, was a Lenape (Delaware) settlement and the principal residence of Shingas, a chief of the Lenapes.[8] Kittanning was a Lenape and Shawnee village on the Allegheny with an estimated 300–400 residents.[9]

I think we may have touched base once or twice soaring eagle, feel free to look me up on myspace under gaiasactuality@hotmail.com. That's what I primarily use for keeping in touch with folks nowadays.~~that also applies to anyone else that would like to connect w/ me~ I'm especially interested in communicating w/ motivated folks that are interested in natural living/sustainable agriculture/ DIY culture.. Commune could happen *someday* I'm going to start paying the taxes on my folks' land and hopefully my dad will be ready to retire it over to me before too long.
    namaste~~ amber and family
