Any Golfers out there?

Ten years ago if anyone told me I'd be playing golf I would have laughed at them. It's a great reason to ride around in a bunch of fields in a silly looking cart and drink beer with your buddys. Any other golfers out there?

 

use to, but dont really much anymore. I chip some balls in the yard with a SW tho.

 

Yeah, I like to. My clubs are about 1700 miles away though so it's kinda hard to play.

 

i go about once a year. i start out playing terribly, and i end up even worse because i'm drunk by the end of the game.

 

I was invited to golf with work executives and I declined. Maybe if we could smoke weed and drink beers on the back 9 I would reconsider..

 

I thought you were supposed to accept those invitations... You know, social capital? Greasing the wheel? Ole boys club? Networking? Team building? Fraterni... Ok that's enough. You get the idea.

 

i know really, i thought that.. just not snobby enough.

 

Yep. Got a 7:15 tee time tomorrow, trying to beat the 98 degree heat.

It makes me laugh when I hear ESPN talking about pro golfers having injuries and will this affect their game? This is the game old men and retired NFL players play when they can barley walk. You do not even carry your own equipment. I guess you need some muscle mass to hit the ball but Tiger Woods lives in a fantasy land if he thinks he is in on PAR with other athletes.

 

Yeah well maybe if you actually watched golf you'd notice that they're not actually old retired NFL players and men and whatever else you just said that was completely inaccurate.

 

I only watch ladies golf...for the eye candy.
