Hello, I need a software for Windows that can create PDF files from other documents.. I don't need editing capabilities, so a simple solution that can handle conversion of many documents daily would be great; something like a virtual printer driver that creates PDFs, or some tool that I can point the file and it would create the PDF. I tried a few free ones but they all have some annoying limitations or nags, a commercial product would be acceptable as long as is not very expensive ( under $100 )... Any recommendations?
Noone helped .. In the meantime I found and tried several products; I will probably buy PDF Factory Pro or PDF Writer Pro ( http://www.amicutilities.com/pdf-writer/ )
Have you tried PrimoPDF yet? I've used it since 2004, but now I've switched over to Linux. PrimoPDF Yup, its free and contains no adware. Like you mentioned, its a virtual printer driver. The only time I've had trouble with this software is when there were resized images (resized by the document editor, not the image editor) in some documents. I haven't used their updated version yet, but its really great and works pretty good.
