I have been a DJ off and on for 13 years. I got my first setup when I was 12 and started my DJ career working in roller skating rinks which led to mobile DJing and working in a record store, then clubs gigs. I am out of the scene and have been for a few years but looking to get back into it full time again. Any others DJs here??? I started spinning alot of breaks, funky house, electro, old school rnb hip hop and electro... then as time went on mainstream dance, top 40, and hip hop is what paid the bills. I am also starting to live a more minimalist lifestyle and really hoping to attend a Rainbow Gathering event too. So if anyone here is also into minimalist lifestyle (not the music), vagabonding, backpacking, nomadic lifestyle, or Rainbow Family Gatherings then I'd love to chat too! Best wishes, Matt
All of the above my friends, i spin local bars around where i live for pennies but im not really looking to pay the bills with what i am doing just looking for a good time. I have been interested in vagabonding for some time but i just dont seem to have the courage to do it, plus i am trying to finish up a 4 yr degree here (taken me 5 already and still have 2 more to go lol) I also produce quite a bit of electo music ranging from house-dubstep along with hip hop and random experimental stuff.
