People who believe that every word in the Bible is true, and that the earth was created by God 6,000 years ago in a week, and that every person who has lived since "Noah's Flood" are descendants of Noah's 3 sons?
Any of you here? I have a few questions for you.

So you believe that Noah had 2 of every creature on earth, and those were the only one's to survive the flood?

Don't bother arguing with creationists, it only results in headaches.

if your a christain I gess you have to.But you have to take it in the proper contex
fo example when the bible says God made the universe in 6 "days" it ment thousands of years.A day with God can be a very long time. You also have to see when the bible is using symbolic lanuage and when its not.(ex hell=death)

I've known a few Creationists, and I think it's cool that they believe that literally in what the Bible says.

You can't 'argue' what someone believes, irrigardless of what their faith or spiritual practice is. Religion is based on faith alone, you either believe or you don't. If you get into overanalyzing, it just turns into an argument.

But it's hard not to argue when there is so much proof to the contrary. It's one thing to take a leap of faith. It's another to ignore sciencetific evidence because it clashes with you're faith.

I have nothing against any religion, I find they all teach the same basic values. Values wich I hold dear as an atheist. But when taken to extremes religion can be blinding. The Bible itself has contradictions - ex. the different accounts of the creation of Adam and Eve... So beleive every word in the Bible at face value boggles the mind.

    /My mind at least...

you dont have to believe in every word of the bible to be christian. In fact, id wager a bet that a majority of Christians dont take the bible literally. Its purely symbolic.
