Any advice?

I need a bit of help! Where do go when your family is at war?! My brother is I guess an alcoholic and tonight he has just started shouting and everything as usual... I came home and my mum came down crying with bags packed and said this time she is going and picked up her passport. I need to get out but have just moved out of my flat so have no where to go! Anyone have any ideas of where to get away to? I hate living at home and just can't stand it anymore!

yuck. that takes me right back in time...i never had a key to my own home. however, i DID have keys to the houses of 5 different friends, and an open door policy for me. even at 3AM. people just had to spend a little time around my family to hand over a key. i lived for those times when i could house sit for someone's parents when they went out of town.
