I work in the financial district (NYC) where drug tests, as often as not, are a fact of life. Our bank usually randomly tests every quarter or so, but not a large sample so it's possible to go for a couple years avoiding one. Not only that, but they dont test for weed: just the stuff that looks bad if employees are caught. Not a bad arrangement: I'm able to smoke with relative freedom. Then we were acquired by another bank four months ago. Their drug policy is as draconian as I've ever heard: continuous random screenings with usually no more than two days notice, this time with a follicle test. Since they instituted this policy, I've smoked no more than three or four times and its royally fucked up my sleep schedule, affected my mood, and just been an altoghter invasion into my private life. At this point I can't stand it anymore and I'm going to start smoking again regularly--fuck the job. That aside, anyone out there know anyway to at least minimize the degree of a positive if not get a negative?
tried fake urine? thats all i could think of on a 2 day notice, no way you could flush it out in that time
that's fuckin bullshit dude. I've heard that lice shampoo works to help pass follicle tests, though I've no actual proof, or experience with this myself. Best of luck buddy.
