I can't get negative and unwanted thoughts out of my head! They sometimes lead to horrible anxiety attacks, I don't want to take medications. Alcohol, cocaine and Rivotril fix the anxiety temporarly. It all started when I smoked pot some years ago, blood pressure dropped, I eventually fainted. I was really freaked out when I woke up, my friends took me to the hospital and they said it was nothing serious. But still, sometimes just the thought that I have anxiety problems leads to shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, chest pain and some other things. Anyone has experienced this?
That really, really sucks. I don't know much about panic attacks, but I do know that I've had them before (rarely, but definitely bad). I've also heard that if you intentionally try your best to amplify the terror and strengthen the attack, it will almost suddenly go away. It's a weird concept, but it has to do with the fact that you're really just afraid of being afraid... if that makes any sense. You're not actually afraid of the attacks themselves, you're just afraid of the possibility that you're going to be afraid of the attacks. In either case, I tried that once and I haven't had an attack since, so maybe you could give it a go. Good luck
Exactly, as you said, I'm afraid of the feeling of being afraid, and I just can't get it out of my head. For example, I still smoke, and I'm feeling good. But once I get all these anxiety thoughts into my head that's when I start panicking and it really sucks.
I have goten panic attack from smoking before. they are caused by looping thoughts when your high. you get stuck in a circle of thoughts that make the anxiety worse and worse.
I do know of the anxienty you're talking about to an extent, which can be quite nasty. The best way to reduce anxiety is to face your fears. If that doesn't function, buy some Valerian (botanical name VALERIANA OFFICINALIS- GREAT HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS) extract pills, which are found over-the-counter in any pharmacy or place that sell vitamins, for about $4.00 - $7.00 USD. I guarantee 100% Valerian will stop some of the anxienty if not all of it. I recommend you to talk to you doctor if taking any meds before taking Valerian. Good luck. Feel the peace.
You do not need a prescription. It is used as a anti-anxienty agent and sleeping aid. Just got to your pharmacy and ask for Valerian. Good luck.
a couple weeks ago i fainted smoking some weed.. yea i was chilling on friends balcony smokin a joint and next thing i know my vision was just getting darker and darker, and then next thing i knew it was all dark, i opened my eyes and i was on the floor haha.. supposedly i had been leaning on the barbeque and i just kept sliding off until i eventually just fainted. i hit my head too, but i didn't feel it. i had a glass of water and in the end i was fine. you're fine, aren't you? you're alive? you see, you have nothing to worry about man. just smoke some more weed and you'll care less about it.
Yes you're fine, but the process of fainting is horrible. Especially when you feel you're gonna faint but you don't and you feel like that for the rest of the day.
just let yourself faint then if you feel like you're gonna faint.. if you think about it, worry about it, or let it get to you obviously it's gonna be bad.. i dunno, maybe it's harder than it sounds, i've never really been too affected with anxiety attacks or anything.. hope all is well in the tho man
