been going thru lots of crap latley, doc gave me some ativan and told me to go back on friday, its not friday yet and i only have 1mg left. ive been avoiding taking it all day because i might need it more later, but i need it pretty bad right now, should i call the doc and ask for more? or go in person? she only gave me 5 mg and it was on monday......i dont know how she expected it to last :( think me asking for more would make her weary of helping me? i really dont want to seem like im drug seeking as i actualy need the help right now :(

    any input would be welcomed
    thanks

Anxiety attacks are the WORST ~

you feel like there's an EARTHQUAKE going on, inside of you...

    i have a scrip for Xanax .5mg, and when i get it filled, it's for a 10-day supply at 3 tabs / day ~ 30 pills.

i will only use them if i know i'm going into a situation that has triggered an attack before, or if i start feeling the quaking sensations.

Call your doctor back, FOR SURE.

Be sure to describe EXACTLY what you feel like when an attack starts,

    AND how long they last,

as well as letting her/him know WHY you're feeling this way right now.

With that sort of info, the doctor can make a better diagnosis and a better care plan for you ~ i.e., if this is just a temporary "phase," the doc probably won't refer you to a mental health specialist.

    Hope this helps!

did you address the cause of the anxiety.. ?
maybe you should find a therapist to discuss issues with rather than taking drugs.
