Antifastan

The CHAZ/CHOP territory. A pseudo country started by leftist cringe-fringe protesters who took over a police station and several blocks of Seattle streets. They consider themselves an independent nation from the United States.

In all honesty, these people are worse than those ranchers that took over the Malheur Wildlife refuge 4 years ago.

On their first days of take-over, they built up a border wall. A Drumpf style border wall, go figure. The same people who say walls are racist go and build their own.

Next they invited the homeless into their encampment, only to have the homeless eat all the free food they offered, leaving them to beg for foreign donations from the country they took over, the USA





Apparently now, they have armed guards and an active militia. And a few shootings that take place. Someone died recently from a shooting that took place. Paramedics, and especially the police can't really go into Antifastan without getting jumped. If this is truly an autonomous zone, they won't need any foreign aid from the united states; they can set up their own hospitals. They call it a peaceful zone, as people get stabbed and shot on a frequent basis.

The mayor of Seattle and the Governor of Washington are both cowardly morons who are doing what they can to please these people. People who hate them no matter what they do.

I say they cut off all electricity and water to the Soyviet Union, and let this nation collapse faster.

I would have thought by now there would’ve been a few people in here chiming in that these protestors of the CHOP are not BLM or Antifa, but white supremacist boogaloos trying to make peaceful socialists look violent

"Seattle police on Sunday continued to pursue their investigation of a shooting in a park in the city’s protest zone which left a 19-year-old man dead and another person critically injured. No arrests had been made.

The shooting occurred at about 2.30am on Saturday in an area near downtown known as Chaz, for “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone”.

The zone, an area cordoned off by protesters, evolved after weeks of protests over police brutality and racism following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

According to a police blog, officers responding to the shooting said they “were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers safe access to the victims”.

Well, do they want to be autonomous, or have help from the police and medics? They can't have it both ways.

 

Minneapolis has the same shit going on. A park there has been taken over. 1600 guns fired in the last month in minneapolis! More than they previously had occurring in 6 months. Not by cops and not by people protecting themselves. Their crime rate has sky rockets, violent crimes being almost 200% over the national average, People being carjacker and other violent crimes since the riots, but the city being so far left voted to dismantle the police force there in a vote 12 for dismantling and 0 against it. There are no cops to report crimes to and victims for these violent acts are saying they feel bad for the one who assaulted them. Oh it isn’t their fault I was raped. The poor rapist! The poor assaulted. Brainwashed stupid people who can’t feel sorry for true victims". I don’t want to call the cops on the guy who put a gun to my face and stole my car and phone, the poor guy wanted it. Crazy.

 

This thread has been created for the sole purpose of Defaming Liberal-Democrat protestors. The term "Antifastan" is a creation of right wing extremists with the intent of bad-mouthing Liberals, Democrats, Protestors, and Homeless persons.

 

"Protesters" don't violate the rights of fellow Americans or violate the laws of our nation. Anyone actively involved with what's going on there is a criminal.

Are you saying that anyone who participates in demonstrations against the police killings is criminal? That's pretty un-American! Whaddabout the two cattle ranchers convicted of two incidents of arson that led Ammon Bundy and the far right armed nutjobs to take over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge? Trump pardoned them.

 

I think they are just having a Republican circle jerk. They need to reassure each other concerning Trump's chances of re-election.

 

The Confederates and the Aryan Nations and The Albion Nation all claimed to be independent of the USA. That last one "Albion" was the creation of Trump's campaign manager for New Hampshire. He moved to Jackman Maine and tried it. They ran him out.

 

From a non-partisan non-political standpoint, and taking a stance that doesn't consider anything beyond inconvenience to the protesters, I feel like they've made their point and they could pivot to other outlets rather than trying to outlast the government.

It seems like a march might be a more effective use of the news agency.

That said, I don't even know why they want to occupy an Autonomous Zone, though I feel it must be related to the George Floyd killing. Maybe the news should do a better job of conveying the demands of this subunit.

Other than your thread title, I see no evidence that all this is the work of an entity called "Antifa". According to Professor Vysotsky of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Mark Bray, history lecturer at Dartmouth College (both of whom have authored books on Antifa), there is no Antifa organization. Instead, Antifa is a loose congeries of individuals and groups which oppose fascism and engage in direct action to combat it. So I would characterize your thread as propaganda. No doubt, Seattle has an anarchist problem. When my sisters were there for the protests against WTO, demonstrations were peaceful until a bunch of black-masked anarchists showed up, started smashing windows and triggered a police riot. The CHAZ/CHOP operation has also attracted right wing activists like "Tiny" Toese of Proud Boys/Patriot Prayer, who were in the territory causing trouble.

The concept of creating an autonomous "nation" in the United States is an anarchist fantasy. It's may be nspired by the Paris Commune that lasted bout three months back in 1871. As I recall, that didn't end well. CHAZ?CHOP can't last. The United States Government and the states have concurrent jurisdiction over all parts of our country. If the City of Seattle chooses to tolerate a community of its citizens playing sovereign nation in its jurisdiction, that's up to them. It may be wise to humor them for awhile, but I suspect this idea has a limited future. Seattle residents and businessmen have already filed a lawsuit against the city for allowing it, and a lot of people have already left. This, too, shall pass.
If Antifa didn't exist, it would have to be invented by right wingers as a bugbear.
