Answering Some Fundamental Questions About The Afterlife.

People wonder they'll meet their pets in heaven. And the answer is yes, pets go to heaven according to Ecclesiastes 3:19-20. And bacteria going back to cyanobacteria. And in heaven you'll be forty, according to paranormal fraudster Sylvia Browne. Even those who died before then, she said. But speaking as a Catholic, I think you will be your embryo self. IOW, when your life began.

 

All your DNA gets dissected and eaten by bacteria. What was you no longer exists.

Without your DNA you don't exist in any form.

If a portion of your consciousness exists outside of your body's DNA manifestation, it would be very different from your current consciousness.

Would it retain memories?
Would it reincarnate in another body?
Would that body necessarily be human?
Would you even exist again in 3 dimensions?
Would you merge with the cosmic consciousness?
Without incorporating physicality, how would you see, hear, taste, or even feel pleasure?
If there is a place were you regain a physical presence again, where is that place exactly?

Many people of religeous bent would say that place is Paradise.

It's where the Muslim men think they'll have 72 virgins at their disposal for everlasting sexual pleasure. Personally I can't see that myself. What about Muslim women, don't they get a look in? What if Muslim women get 72 male virgins to play with for all eternity, would it be the case that the soul of a dead Muslim man might end up being the plaything of a Muslim woman? So now I guess you find those ancient Pharoahs standing in lines at museums waiting to see their precious possessions like everyone else, right? How'd that work out for them?
