people here already have the internet..... sometimes the phone people ask for us to do a search...no problem....but searching and posting a google answer is not what this site is about....specially if it pertains to someones medical condition you know who you are
I don't have any context here, but I will say that asking medical advice from the geniuses at hipforums is a recipe for cholera.
I don't know about the OP, but I kind of appreciate it when someone suggests a book they "haven't read themselves, but have read others in the series",,which is what they said. I think that poster had a valid suggestion. If an author is known to have published helpful information that one has personal knowledge of, and has published another book that they haven't yet read, it seems no great sin to suggest someone could read that book. It sounded helpful to me. It's like saying that a certain builder has built homes before, and his homes are well-made, and the poster has lived in one of his homes himself, though not the one in question. Or when a car manufacturer has designed a new car, and someone says "I've driven so-and-so's cars before, and they've always been dependable and well-designed, though I haven't driven that particular model."
You mean to tell me that I can't get all of the answers about life from THE GOOGLES?! What on Earth am I gunna do now?!
I was flustered and posted about having a broke back and Orison gave me a good link that was helpful. so much bullshit online. I can talk to you guys and maybe get an idea how to google.
I like using wiki, because it's like the caveman's version of Hichhikers guide to the galaxy. i wanna live vicariously through Arther dent
Wikipedia and Google will eventually merge, and form Giggle, or Wiggle, or Gippypedia, or Woogle, or Wiggle-Waggle,,,,
People of my generation have learnt a considerable portion of what they know because they decided to do a Google search. People lacking general critical thinking skills have a lack of filters and so can find internet bullshit and then reproduce it as if it must be fact simply because it's on a website. These people are called morons. For the rest of us, talking about things we learnt by searching on the internet sometimes is not only valuable but pretty much inevitable.
lol...cholera...lol bbad.....of course suggesting an author you have read is fine..and even suggesting one of her/his other books would also be fine.....not what i meant.... and i am not yet king ...so ye shall do what ye wants......this was a childish reply about another member...for some damned reason[childishness?] it bugs me when this dude posts an obvious search result....i dont know why it bugs me.... I hate that it bugs me....i'm not perfect.....just closer than you are
