Another F***ing Kfc??????

i'm going to go pick up my little sis. from summer school, and i see a construction area with bulldozers and such, and a sign that says," This area is being leveled for the construction of another Kentucky Fried Chicken"- or something to that extent.

WTF??? Don't we have enough f***ing contributers to obesity in this world??
im soo sick of this sh*t, considering all around the area of the new kfc is a ZIPS, McDonalds, Jack in the box,etc.....*sigh*

KFC used to have this really awesome skinless rotisserie style chicken. personally, i've always prefered el pollo loco.

 

I see KFC commercials all the time. Makes me hungry. Dammit.

 

dave and the girls love kfc. i think it's okay on occaision, but if i let them eat it as often as they wanted to...well, i'd get fat and they wouldn't, and that's just not fair.

its something that will not stop as long as they make enough money to keep building more...not just kfc but all of those fuckers.McDonald's every 4 feet and whatnot.its bullshit. due to the convenience of being able to "pick something up for dinner" on your way home from work every night because you have to work 9 hours a fucking day and don't have the time or the energy to make real food that is healthy, the fast food industry will stay on top....and keep building their shitty buildings where ever they please...

KFC wouldn't be coming if there were enough. Are you going to blame the chicken for someone being fat? Or the guy who sold the chicken? I mean, maybe if food was rationed and the government formed a coalition with Colonel Chicken or whateverthefuck his name is then I would see it as a bad move, but nobody is being forced to eat this shit. People want chicken more than health, and if they want iobesity bad enough then you're just gonna have to give it to them.

The only problem I have with fat people is that the more there are, the more acceptable it is, and the less people worry about the fact that they can't climb stairs without it looking like they were in a trident splash commercial. (Do you get those ones? Where the guy chews gum in his speedo and then a tidal wave comes and gets everybody?) Anyways...

Fast food only exists because people willingly consume it.



I might be a tad extremist when I say this... but fat is NOT natural. It is a tad sad to see society accepting obesity so willingly... hell, even the entire huge "Everyone Diet" thing kinda died down. Hell, it even gets to a point where people are being criticized for not being attracted to fat people just because of their looks.

Fat is one direction in which human evolution went ridiculously wrong. At least us skinny people have something to eat when the economy collapses and everything goes to shit... Fatso roast!

 

We have a lot of fat contributors out here too. There is nowhere nearby to go to eat unless you want something disgusting.

In my opinion...let them build whatever they want...it's the people that should have the self control

they know they are going to get customers out of sheer convenience...not because they have good food or because they have good prices, but because its easy. we all know it tastes like ass most of the time. but its RIGHT there, and require no effort. this is where the self control SHOULD come in....but doesn't. anyone notice that most fast food places are now (in the past few years) open 24 hours or at least till 12 now? anyone remember when they closed at a decent hour forcing people to make their own food?
*bruschetta* really does make a perfect point on obesity. how is it that the more of a problem it is, the more its ignored?

I'm one of those people at the grocery store that looks at what other people are buying. I go up to the deli and buy my meats and over to produce to buy my veggies. Everyone else buys the pizza dinners on sale and the weight watchers dinners-those are just as bad as fast food! It's all processed. Whatever happened to cooking?!

 

I kinda like kfc but I doubt I even eat there once a year.

 

In Thailand KFC is fine dining, and you have to be rich to eat there. It's one of the only air-conditioned buildings other than 7-11 (sadly, you also have to be "thai-rich" to shop here). It costs 10 times more for a meal here than at a food stall on the street, and you even get restaurant service.

It's funny though, because really the only people I see inside as I walk by are chubby tourists drooling over expensive portions of cheap shit that they miss from home. They aren't here for the money, they aren't here for the taste, they aren't here for the convenience, I truly believe that it's a physical addiction. Your body wants to maintain it's layer, like you'll be hibernating or something. Haha I can't explain it. But I see it...

 

I can't eat fast food. It always makes me so sick. I went into a KFC once after going to the movies-we just wanted something quick and I couldn't even eat based on how dirty it was in there-ugh

 

i've been a vegetarian for 2 years; the last time i ate at kfc was when i was like,...8 years old!!- now im really glad i haven't.

 

Haha, in Honduras TGI Friday's is like the fanciest shit ever (other than a few extremely upscale business-tourist based restaurants)... all the locals completely dress up, make a big deal out of it, and so on. Bands play there every weekend. Hell, my band played at a Friday's once and it was considered one of the best gigs in town (do note that I lived in the second largest city in the country).
