    NO, NOT MEDICAL!
    Acorns!
    Broken, pointy partial acorns!
Now, I'm in eastern PA, where we don't have cacti and many types of pointy plants (roses, YES).
Who can "handle" acorns (other than the two Krisses and Barefoot Rick)?

I had to deal with those when I lived in the Northeast. We had a huge oak tree in the ftont yard that the squirrels would spend the day chewing acorns in. Walking over to the driveway barefoot was always an adventure and test for toughness.

Even though I have toughened my soles, I have not yet and may never achieve "steeldom"

Where I go fishing and just to go for a walk there are some oak trees and I walk it barefoot and stepping on acorns don’t bug me or even hurt . People tell me I have flintstone feet . ( from the cartoon the flint stones ) . I can pretty much walk on anything.
