Hey ladies I need your help! January 25th will by my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend. I'm trying to decide what to do. We both work 2 jobs and have an 11 year old boy. So we don't get a whole lot of special time together. I want to reward us with something great. I want to do something really special and maybe extravagant. We live in Kansas, so there aren't many "big" places to go to. Closest is Chicago (9 hrs away) and I'm pondering that. HOWEVER, not sure I want to plan a trip to a cold destination that far away in the winter... Anyway, here is where I need some help... She is fairly butch. I tend to think of really girly romantic things that I would like someone to do for me. Not that she wouldn't appreciate them, but most of the stuff I come up with, I think she would find cheesy. Any ideas?
Ok, some help, but 1 st a big hello to you and Happy Thanksgiving!!. 1st. idea, is there any classic car shows or boat shows coming up around that time? Yes, indoors. we have them here. 2nd. why not try a little R & R? I'm butch and my g/f is femme, her b-day is feb. 11th and being Valentine's is feb 14th. I always try to combine the 2 with a big get away. Even if it's to a cozy Bed n Breakfest for the wkend w/ a few day tour s thrown in and nice dinners to boot. It's romantic and yet very relaxing and you don't have to make your own bed, at least for the wkend.lol We have a 13 soon to be 14 yr.old daughter and since we have been together for 3.5 yrs. this has worked for the last 3 b-days. Our anniversery is june 24th, so for that we plan a family vacation because it's warm and it's the only time my kid has for vacation as well as us. 3.If none of these help, you can always, just unplug the phone, send the kid to a relatives for the wkend, lock the door, pull down the shades, stock the fridge w/ microwavable food, and let you imaginations and inhibitions take over!! .
Homeade sentimental things are always appreciated, despite whether a woman is butch or femme. Write her a poem or a song, send some flowers to her work, cook a great meal, have a picnic in your living room. If you are looking for something more extravagent get some tickets to a show you'd both dig ie. a concert. grab a nice room, make sure there is champagne and fresh strawberries and flower petals all over the place... a little cliche, but it works.... And if you are adventerous, hey...give her a strip show!
