That's kinda like asking us how we survive with all the feces we produce from the food we eat. We get rid of it -- we vent it -- we expel it. If we were keeping it inside, that'd be cause to worry for us. I appreciate your concern. -Jeffrey
I understand and agree that anger must be vented or it will eat you up inside. However, my concern is the amount of anger. I don't think I've ever had that much anger inside me. Things just do not get to me that often.
But they're also less efficient. Sort of like, you can save fuel getting where you're going, but you can't get there at the same speed if you do. LOL -Jeffrey
Well, my blessing and my curse is an efficient, observant, analytical mind, one that works at high speed. It provides the excess available mind-power to dwell on a lot of stuff, and given that the world is a pretty fucked-up place, there is a lot for me to find myself unhappy with. I have to seek out the pockets that I find happy and pleasant and peaceful; and even in those there is disharmony to be wary of. Have you ever read a quote -- it may actually be from the bible <shudder!> -- "In much knowledge is much grief; and he that increaseth his knowledge increaseth his sorrow, also"? (maybe not an exact quote) Well, I'm the living embodiment of that. Sorry if I have to vent now and then. To get a good idea of what I mean, rent the movie "Little Man Tate." Or come over some time and we can watch my DVD. I'm not saying I'm a genius like the character in the movie, but I feel the kind of pain he feels about the world, yes. -Jeffrey
TV taught me this (see if you can guess where): "Now the world don't move to the beat of just one drum; What might be right for YOU may not be right for some!" Hey, man, I'm lookin' for my peace. Cut me some slack. -Jeffrey
