This is like the breaking news of the day which the corporate media says everyone needs to know about. But still, wow... Angelina Jolie. If I was female and as hot as her I think I'd rather face the risk.

Doesn't anyone else think this move was a bit...um... extreme?

 

Do I think it was extreme? Not really. Her mother died from it after a long battle, and she carries the gene that pretty much says she'll get it.

A lot of women do this, but it's a personal decision. It's like being the son in a long line of prostate cancer deaths. You're a time bomb.

Being hot is nothing if your boobs are killing you.

 

I heard this on the radio today, they said she had something like an 87% chance of getting breast cancer so she did away with the tata's and they said she already had implants put in. She claims to have done this for her kids sake. doesnt she have like 15 kids or somethin?

 

Genetics are not everything, though. A lot has to do with how well you take care of yourself, and I would say by the looks of it that Angelina Jolie is pretty damn healthy. I'm not saying that completely eliminates her risk, but having both breasts removed when you don't even have cancer sounds rather extreme to me.

I think she's not as reliant on her looks as she used to be. She's already a mother and wife and a superstar with enough money for 10 lifetimes. Why does she need big tits?

 

They're just boobs, Rat, not her arms or something important.

 

I think she made a wise decision. She has 6 children to live for.

 

My ex has had a double mastectomy and is now having a master tattoo artist do an incredibly beautiful double dragon over the scar tissue.

 

And F... to her 6 million fans who still think tomb raider was the greatest movie ever made, and the scene in which we get a side view of those perfect ta ta's meaningless

cutting your chances of getting breast cancer from ~90% to ~5% is worth trading your tits in for fake ones, i would think.

 

That's the only item(s) that got her where she is. Has honky lips and trucker ass. She made enough $$$ she don't need them now and can always get fakes. Like the rest of follywood, Fake tits and real assholes.

 

tbth.. Ive never seen a single film with her in it. her father is a different story.

 

not to be cynical but this isn't as huge of a deal to her as it would be to the average woman because she can afford the world's best plastic surgeon for reconstruction.

I think it's cooler than hell that she did that. I'm sad because she had FANTASTIC tits, but with an 87% chance of getting breast cancer, I would've done away with them, too. I have a friend who is battling breast cancer right now and it's really helping her self-esteem to know that Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy because she finds out soon if they have to take one or both. I think this really will help the self-esteem of a lot of people fighting breast cancer because losing your breasts has got to be incredibly hard and when you see one of the most admired women in Hollywood (and in my opinion, one of the most beautiful) has done away with hers, it makes it a lot easier to accept losing your own.
