Do you have an android phone, and if so, what kind of phone is it? What provider do you use, and how much do you pay each month? I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim which runs on the Straight Talk prepaid plan from Walmart. The phone itself was about $180. It's nothing extravagant, but I don't need any more than what it offers. I hate Walmart and avoid doing business with them at all costs, but for $40 a month, which provides you unlimited calls, texting, internet, etc. you really can't go wrong. The phone I have works on Verizon towers, so I have not had a problem with bad reception or dropped calls. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking to save some money on their phone bill.
I have a droid S. The battery life is about five hours. Before that I had a little $20 Nokia and the battery would last for like 7 days.
I have a Samsung Corby. It's aimed at the young and trendy (apparently) ... It's on O2 pay-as-you-go.
I really want one of those Straight Talk phones. I have the LG blackberry knockoff on a Net10 minute card right now and it's not on an Android OS, but I've really been considering using my spending money from one paycheck on one. It'd be nice to not be so limited and while my phone is more with the times than my old phone was, it's still a piece of crap and I'm tired of worrying about minutes. I'm gonna go unlimited soon and not look back.
I've been stranded on the side of the road with no way to contact anyone too many times to feel safe without at least a pay as you go phone. And even if I don't have service, I try to keep an old still functioning phone on me in case I need to call 911. I'd really rather just have a landline, but unfortunately, people have to get ahold of me outside of my house and I also have incredibly poor luck when it comes to travel. lol
I also have a samsung that looks a lot like this one. It is the first phone I bought and also the only one I've ever had. I plan to keep using it as long as it works. I don't really need internet on my phone and especially not a bill for it :2thumbsup:
unlimited internet for 40 bucks is incredibly cheap...there has to be a cap...unlimited daytime minutes too?
he is in new york...it is 5 kilometers south of me...i could get a plan from cape vincent and use it here right now my landline is 35 a month and internet about a hundred
My plan is like 5 years old and I was grandfathered in after all the new rate hikes. I don't believe I have any restrictions, but I never use more than 1gb of data per month.
