anchoring in music

    when i listen to alot of good songs that i usually like, it gets too emotional for me to listen too

    these all are awesome songs, but i can't listen to the, how do i de-anchor all my emotions from them?

    dont "de-anchor" your emotions unless you wouldn't mind turning what you currently perceive to be beautiful works of art transforming into a stale imitation of its former self.

    the point of art is (at least sometimes) to evoke emotion. it doesnt have to be pleasant emotion at all.
