Anyone go yesterday? it was in Capetown. It was absolutley awesome although I feel alot more people where there for the music rather then the presidents speech, but I can't say I was not half there for that too. But it was really fun. ALot of energy. The bands where freaking wonderful. Just wondering if anyone came out?
Pretty good. I only stayed one week in Capetown though, then a few different nature reserves, now I'm living in Berdasdorp for the next few months. It's deffinatly very different but I like my family I'm stayign with, and new job at the local clinic...Things are good, beautiful country, beautiful weather.. I've never experiences segragation like this though, It's deffinatly very different living here.
Of course no one went for the speach...read in the newspaper today that 800 school kids were stranded near Pretoria. The government promised them last year to build them a school before the start of this school year and when they arrived for school yeasterday, there was a field where the school was supposed to be. They haven't started, though no suprise there I guess. Atleast the weather is nice today.
