Does anyone here know of a desensetizing anal lube with Lidocaine instead of Benzocaine? Or where best to look for one?
I would never suggest that anyone use a desensitizing lube. If you are experienceing that much pain, then things are not right. We enjoy occasional anal sex, but only when everything feels just right. If i am feeling like it, she will tell me if it is "a good time" or not. Then we never have anal sex until she has had several orgasms from vaginal sex. At that point, she can relax enough for painless anal penetration using only her natural lubricant and a bit of spit. In my experience, the natural lube is far better than anything else we have tried. We get less damage/pain that way than if we splashed lube all over the place, plus it is cleaner by far. One recomendation for preparation for anal sex. While having vaginal sex, change the angle to a more verticle position. In the missionary position, the man moves further up the woman's body so that the shaft of his cock rubs her clit. At that angle, each stroke massages her colon and pushes anything that you do not want to encounter far away from the anal opening. It also gets all the natural lubrication flowing. This position will be uncomfortable for her if she has something in the colon that needs to go, so it is also a way to know whether or not it is a "good time". We have also experimented with enemas before hand, but i do not recomend that practice. It is not very pleasent. It takes time and is quite an interruption, and it leaves the colon free of natural lube. The best lube we have ever used for anal sex is crushed ripe bananna. Sounds kinda gross, but it is way slippery, and it does not get sticky as you go. Don't knock it till you try it. Jim
^^ This. Feeling pain is a sign that you're too tense, and it could result in injury if you go overboard with anal sex after disregarding the warning your body is trying to send you, by making the sensation go away with a numbing agent. You should learn to relax first, so that you wouldn't experience any discomfort, and take it from there. Just noticed that this post is 8 years old but oh well. Thank the person above me for bumping it...
Agreed on the no numbing. If you can't relax and need to dull the pain, you also don't get the full pleasure your nerves can give. If the penetration is going well, there is a great deal of pleasure, so why shut that off? At that rate, he may as well rub off on the bed instead of in you. However, I find that an enema before I play helps me relax a ton, even if it means I need more lube. If I'm not worried that I'm about to make a stinking mess, it's easier for me to enjoy what I'm doing.
There's plenty of similar items - this is just one of them: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doc-Johnson-Rear-Entry-Desensitising/dp/B000QU3X12"]Doc Johnson Rear Entry Desensitising Lube 48ml: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home
Numbing lubes make zero sense to me. I'm not sure that they even do what they are intended to do. If they do work, then what is the point? The feeling I get with anal is the reason I do anal. Why would I want to give that up? Astroglide is by far my favorite anal lube.
Nuru Gel is what we use for Anal play when using our G-Spot vibes and strapless strapon dildoes. did full anal with the wife once, and it just wasnt her thing, but she pegs me a few times a week with her strapless strapon, so nuru gel is ideal.
Careful with a desensitizing lube, or if you do use one make sure you wear a condom. Tried it once years back and didn't have a condom on. Ended up it numbed me so much I went soft and that pretty much wrapped that night up
i have never heard of desensitizing lubes before, and why would they make it for use in sex play if it numbs the genitals ? we mostly use Nuru Gel for our sensual massages & body glides, and it is perfect for anal penetration, but we use the Melrose H2Oil for normal therapeutic type massages, but is still great because if we end up getting naughty during our massage, it is ok for use internally, and it is made up of natural ingredients with no bad preservatives, and washes out in hot water. EDIT: come to think of it, i must check out the ingredients in the Melrose oil, because i recall telling my wife a few times that i get this very mild numbing sensation in my penis, and it is hard to maintain an erection sometimes. will report back.
Quite simply, because it can increase the duration of the session, which can heighten the pleasure, or be especially advantageous to who tends to suffer from premature ejaculation. Because most sexual excitement is actually provided by the brain's state of mind, reducing the physical sensitivity of the penis can help to balance things out. Incidentally, it's not a case of being totally numb, as you may associate with the dentist, for example. It's actually only very slight - barely noticeable, but often just enough to give you that edge.
well thats really odd because when we used to use that melrose H2Oil in the photo above, i always bitched to the wife about having a very mild numbing sensation, but i actually tended to lose my erection because of it. the nuru gel, well that is the opposite, however too much of that and you could slip your whole fist inside her because it is so slippery, hence why it is used for nuru massages.
