so after i planned on moving out of my parents residence upon finishing high school and getting a place of my own. in my apartment, probably, i was planning on growing a few things, such as: cannabis, mushrooms and salvia, since i like it quite a bit, but it hurts the wallet.

i was wondering if since the leaves are significantly weaker than the extract, if its possible to make a salvia tea? like grinding the leaves up with a pestle and making some tea with it. would it work by ingesting it? reason is, i really would prefer not to smoke a quite bit of leaves to get the effects of an extract. any help is appreciated.

nah, the active ingredient isn't absorbed well by drinking tea. If smoking doesn't do it learn the quid method, or with a little effort you can learn to make tincture.
if money is your only concern just shop around salvia is cheap. you can buy quality 10x for as little as $4 a gram.
