in Time magazine, (i think, i read a lot), said that the average American will spend 13 years of his/her life watching the television. This is based on a 72 year life. I'm thankful I don't watch much televison, if i use the TV at all it's usually for someting interactive, (PS3), and occasionally a TV show that i DVR or download.
13 years? really? that's insane. i wonder what percentage of that is advertisements? pollution of the mind if you ask me
The one good thing about going to boarding school: I got weaned off that mind rotting, soul stealing machine early.
not every forum is as laid back as this one...i think my constant message board posting (since, like, 8th grade) has contributed to my writin skillz
and it sure as hell exposed me to a fuck ton of ideas i would other wise be totally ignorant of in fact if it werent for the internet id probably still be a constant knee-jerk reaction having, consensus support tool
shamwow guy is awesome, did you see his commercial for the slap chop? "stop having boring tuna, stop having a boring life" i could mary him for that
I agree. I'm a naturally curious person and if I wonder about something or have a question I can google it and voila, I just learned something.
that must mean i've spent at least 9 years of my life watching 24 hour cable news. damn. you know you're starting to get old when the only thing you watch is the news....
i can't even imagine 13 years of my life gone that's over 90% of my life so far i wonder how much time the average stoner spends high...
