At first I thought this was all a joke. But apparently I was wrong. Then again because this is for real, it makes it that much funnier. No, just no.
I'd hate to say it and if it is true they probably picked her specifically for this reason but, she's not pretty or thin enough to pull Barbie off. I'm not too sure of barbies sense of humor either but I'll make a quick judgement and say Amy Schumer doesn't have the sense of humour either going off the junk she puts out on the comedy network.
Lol. And she's always quite liberated with her weight so if she has to trim down for this role then shame on you Amy I'll never listen to a word she says again. Not that I did though, but I like being dramatic. And I know she will slim down too because that's what they do for movies. She should be ashamed with herself and I'll never listen to word she says again.
I'm disgusted that they have cast an actress to play Barbie who is not the exact size and and proportions of the doll. I demand a screen-accurate actress who is unable to lift her head and has severe respiratory problems, much like John Merrick, the Elephant man.
I agree. I grew up with Barbie dolls because I have a sister close to my age. Somehow I don't see a good connection between the glamorous life of Barbie, and Schumer's vagina jokes.
why not just get the real thing..... http://www.humanbarbie.org/ she stays so thin because she is a breatharian and only lives on air.....LOL
She's got the blonde hair and blue eyes. She's cute and has nice skin. I'm sure if they want to impossibly shaped look, CGI can do wonders. -shrug- if they want her to play Barbie. Who cares?
Perhaps not so far-fetched: In the plot the main character gets kicked out of Barbieland for not being perfect enough and lands in a real-world adventure. Short of going on a crash diet she's perfect for the role. Hotwater
It could. But I would only apply it to a situation where I felt concern or another reaction was misdirected.
The connection might exactly be her 'critical' vagina jokes. Half of her comedy revolves about joking about barbie-like women, how they try to get (and actually receive) special treatment and how she's not one. Coincidence?
