amount of music

just wondering...

how many cds do you have in your HOUSE... even if they're not all yours ?

and

how many songs on the computer of YOURS?

for me... cds- about 600 total (two of us, but we share)

and computer about.... 1000 songs

 

i'm slowly catchin up on the CD's (i only have about 150), but on the computer i have like 4400 songs...

 

There's about 400 cds here.
I have about 10 songs on my computer, my boyfriend has about 50 on his...that's just a guess though.

 

hehe that's cool.

i had about 200 cds stolen from me in my life (being home less for two years and all) and lost about 300 on the computer (big virus) but yeah...

between dan and me, we worked HARD to get what we have. grrr

i want MORE!!!

How can you keep so many on your computer? I had like 100 on here before and I had to take them off, it bugged me...I clean my folders out weekly. :H

 

it's all about space which i dont know that much of. but my computer is fairly new and i know my can hold a lot. all i can say is clean your space but if that doesnt work, then maybe you need to buy more space or get a new puter?

 

I have enough space. It just bugs me to know there's so many files just sitting there. I never listened to all of the songs frequently so I removed them. I'm a neat freak. :&

 

but what is your drive like? cause im tellin you.. i delete next to nothing?

 

I have a good drive (I think). I have a lot of files like icons, tv eps, pictures, and programs (psp, pixia, games). It's not slow and it's only a few months old. My parents and I paid over $600 for it...so it should be good. :H

 

do you go to college? have any brothers?

get someone to come in and check it out.

if you cant or it doesnt work, get a technian..just a general one to come look at it.

 

i'm a minimalist, i only keep around what i'm listening to at the moment. i'm trying to cut down on clutter. it's bad for my chi

 

Why would I want someone to check it out?

 

I am in the process of ripping all my cds so I can transfer them all to an IPOD. I currently have 3160 songs in that folder. I have no Idead how many CD's I have I got a bunch there in that cd holder 2 full two hundred cd books,

( those arent full nessecarily) and about 200 live grateful dead disks on spindles.

 

I refuse to by an IPOD!

 

lol geting a new computer for more songs,, that would be foolish.

 

because if you should have more space, then maybe you should.

ya know? maybe something is wrong that we dont know of and someone can help the efficiency of your drive.?

 

you go girl, but if I can take all my music on the ship when I deploy but leave every disk at home, I will be happy. I was using IPOD as a generic term anyway. I just wanna get a 40 or 80 gig portable MP3 player so I can leave my cds at home. I only have so much space, and the 200 jacket I took last deployment took up a lot of space.

 

I have enough space though...I don't have to delete files...I just like to. I need to have an orderly computer.

 

I have barely dented my 320 gigs of storage so far....
