I am not one to get too pedantic but I consider misinformation, disinformation and propaganda to be all much the same thing - mind control.
Thats just an excuse to avoid responsibility. Why not be nice and try to correct misinformation and fight disinformation. And i don't think shes misinformed, she just hasn't rounded her facts properly. We all get better with age
well scientists are working on it but i believe the consensus is that we are decades away from having viable economic nuclear fusion. I think in the short term we need to switch to a combination of wind power, fission, hydroelectric, tidal/wave, and the remainder needs to be supplied with biomass. At least when burning biomass you are only cycling CO2 around from plants to the atmosphere, not digging it out of the ground and releasing it. We are just gonna have to except that electricity will become slightly more expensive. It doesnt really matter anyway seeing as we are richer than ever before in the history of civilisation, we can afford a small financial hit to save millions or perhaps billions of lives a century or so down the line. Oh and if we increased the amount of energy we get from renewables here in the UK from about 5% to near enough 100% I'm sure the financial hit would be lessened as we benefit from economies of scale in manufacture and operation. And as far as not having wind on tap, it is unlikely that the wind will stop at all points on the national grid at once. And we might have to except the occasional power cut a few times a year for the good of the earth. And for critical operations like hospitals the envoironmental damage from having back-up diesel generators would be negligable.
