American Idol is dying.

And this fills my heart with glee. The ratings have been down for years.

i saw some last night and it took a while to figure out who the other 3 judges were

and the 4th one was the guy no one liked from all the old shows lol

 

Yeah, I hate how they keep changing judges. Simon was definitely the glue holding the show together. I really miss Paula Abdul's Xanaxy feel. Lol

 

American Idol is dying, and for that I could not be happier. Do not resuscitate.

 

Let's go beyond DNR, like, pulling the plug.

It died after the first season. The other shows, The Voice and The X Factor, trying to replace it are not any better.

 

Is that what the sound of dying screams were from?

I thought it was Steven Tyler trying to make a comeback.

 

I watch very little television.

I never really understood why anyone would want to watch these talent show programs, but they're nearly as bad as everything else on tv

 

I think that show is like the energizer bunny! It seems to have never ending batteries.

 

This is a good thing, right?

 

eh, doesn't really matter. it's going to be replace by something equally stupid.

it's not like anyone's forcing me to watch anyway, so it really has no direct effect on my life.

 

I am happy to say that I have never seen an episode of this show, or any of its evil spawns.

 

It was dead the moment that plastic looking Nicki Minaj joined the show. She can't even be considered a singer, much less a judge of talent.

 

I have to agree with this. The show has never been on my radar.

 

It's not dipped below fourth in the ranking and is generally first or second.

It does look like this year was really bad - but one year they have over 36 million the next it is 25 million then the next 30 million. It probably should quit before it really embarrasses itself.

 

LOL ^ I'm glad to see I'm in good company, having never watched more than a total of 10 minutes of that show...and that is being spread out through maybe 8 to 10 episodes. :2thumbsup:
