He also said "That the people of America are ignorant, and are blind. That we deserve the horrible destruction that await's us. And that he support's any group that wishes american's harm"

Now if you want cold hard fact's. Ill get them. I have proof. But tell me this, why hasnt the Media really mentioned this? I mean, I would want to know if someone is planing a Nukelear attack in my neighborhood anytime soon.

Then today Nov 30, he write's to the American people "Please help Iran, help the people of Iran by demanding withdrawl from the Middle-East"

That's kind of funny, when not even a month earlier, he was mentioning how he was going to destory America, and destroy Israel. NOW HE WANT"S OUR HELP. The Same man, who assist terrorist cell's. Who supply the exact same people that crashed those plane's into NYC. They have become that desperate.

I and my family are from millitary background. I have seen what goes on over there. The Media, is wrong. 80% of the Iranian people love us and demand our help. The other 20% some percent is Terrorist extremest tied.

America, we arnt going to loose 20,000 American live's over the course of this conflict. We are going to Loose 200MILLION+ in one night. In second's, America will be whiped off the globe. Because, Iran/Amihimajahd want's that and will stop at nothing till we we are smothered in Nuklear debreas.

Ummm, I don't think Iran has that many nukes, to annihilate 200 million, maybe 1 or 2. Maybe they'd succeed in exploding 1 or 2 and probably in NYC or Washington DC. Still that's a threat.

You know, all this business of painting Iran as the new boogeyman is just an excuse to invade the country to get our hands on their oil supplies.

Does anyone in their right mind really believe that Iran would attack the US with nuclear weapons? They'd be immediately flattened if they did. The Iranians clearly know this. The whole idea is ridiculous.

Pakistan developed nuclear weapons a number of years back when they were still the primary supporters of the Taliban, but we didn't try to paint them as being a threat to civilization, minutes away from nuking the US. Why? Because we didn't have a financial incentive for invading their country like we do with Iraq and Iran.

The US has more weapons of mass destruction than all other countries put together. We invented most of the damned things ourselves. It's a literal miracle that some horrid accident involving the things hasn't blown the whole planet to kingdom come a long time ago.

Scudrehab implies that the Iranians were responsible for 9/11. Never mind the fact that the majority of the hijackers were Saudis! Oh, I'm sorry, I just remebered that the Saudis are our best friends in the Middle East. Why? Because they've got more oil than anybody else on the planet. Sorry to confuse you with the facts...

 

I don't think Iran has enough nukes (if any), to completely wipe out America, let alone the capability to actually hit us with one.

Yeah, if the Iranians dared nuke basically anyone they'd be wipe out. I'm glad you mentioned that fact about the Saudis, not so many people know that.

 

Iran currently has no nuclear weapons. Get real folks. Just because they are trying to develop nuclear power generation doesn't mean they want to flatten the world. They wish to have an alternative power source for their industries. Isn't that commendable? Or should we force all of the world to operate on the same selfish scale the US does? Everyone should depend on the oil industry for everything...

 

Pakistan has the nuke and they have Bin Laden why don't we run them down and threaten wholesale slaughter of their nation?

Listen, I'm about as liberal as they come, but that does not mean I'll agree with every liberal. The president of Iran holds conferences denying the holocaust. He has called Israel a tumor, which should be severed from the Middle East. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he's not trying to build a healthy nuclear power plant.
I understand that liberals don't like to have anything in common with the Bush administration whatsoever, but could we agree at least that Iran is potentially dangerous, and deserves attention?

In short no. I don't wish to wage any more war. Why shouldn't Iran look towards nuclear power for energy for their industry? Should they build industry on the back of petroleum?
