    I didn't know until now that amber was petrified tree resin, Awesome especially since I love trees, I like amber even more now.

    Amber is a really beautiful stone. I especially like the amber with bugs and/or bubbles in it. I wish there were different colors of amber besides orangeish red... like blue or green would be awesome! I wonder if there are ways to make artificial amber, maybe like messing with the tree's genetics or nutrients?
