Am I unnattractive?

I'd like to figure out why people aren't interested in me...

I think you're pretty attractive but I get the vibe that you may be a little too needy and desperate...

Youre pretty and you dont NEED anyone. Just enjoy life and things will fall into place.

c'mon now. Don't get mad. You're cute and obviously young or you wouldn't ask. I don't see why you would have any trouble doing anything you want with anyone you want. It's sometimes difficult to get past some answers you'll get in here--lots of jokers,several pricks and many good people. Hang in--you'll have fun.

im not getting rid of the dreads, I only ever started getting compliments from guys when I got them

 

Be who you are...I don't look at your picture and assume you are needy or pushy or anything like that.

I see an attractive little hippie girl that is confident in finding what she wants and going for it. So instead of being caught up in your self-conceived notions of not being able to have friends or having sex with the people you want (I would think you wouldn't have any trouble in those two aspects of life), act how you WANT to act. And don't be afraid.

I think that your issues that you may have with other people 'not liking you' are actually projections of how you feel about yourself. So don't worry about trying to make people happy and like you - make yourself happy and people will want to like you because of that.

If you base your self worth on others compliments, you'll never be pretty enough.

A happy smile, and kind eyes is all anyone needs to be attractive.

Well, it wasn't the picture.

It was the desperate plea for compliments that I planned on harping on.

 

let me rephrase that, it wasn't until I got dreadlocks that guys just simply talked to me

 

That seems exaggerated. I would talk to you, definitely. With or without dreads.

 

my guess is that your standards are too high and you probably have several guys who would love to have sex with you but you've decided that they're "just friends."
