The other night my boyfriends roommate brought this girl he was going to have sex with to my boyfriends house. We were all sitting in the basement at the dining room table. There were 6 of us all together. so we are all chatting, and my boyfriend keeps looking at this girl. He's talking with his roommate that brought her, and looking at the both of them, but always returning his look to her. When he starts talking to my other roommate, he looks back at her again. So I'm sitting there sort of across from my boyfriend just watching him and not once does he look at me or glance at me. It's like I wasn't even there. This lasted for about 20 minutes before I was sick of it and got all my stuff ready to leave. That's when he finally looks up at me! I am just so confused. She was one of those girls that gets all done up, and I was just in my pajamas with no makeup on, and not feeling good that day. I just don't understand how men that claim you are the love of their life can do things like that. Then of course when I call him on it he deny's it. I consider myself to be attractive, but real and down to earth...and that's his ideal he claims. He always gives me a hard time about wanting things for my self like a $30 hair cut or whatever it may be. He claims he doesn't like girls that are materialistic or high maintenance, but he can oogle them all night. This girl was just a booty call, so what does that tell you? I just need some perspective.... Thanks for reading.
fuck him more often, if not and he's still looking... it's cause he's young and is not completely committed.. no matter what a guy says at a young age it's nothing more then just wanting to fuck everything insight.
no but the hormones are kicking in for guys at a young age, and girls don't understand that, girls think clearly everytime of the day except when they're angry, and guys think clearly after stress is relieved... why do you think when you have sex with a guy he either wants to fall asleep or he wants to take off... nobody is looking for marriage young (except females)
That's so gross to me. This guy claims he wants to marry me. I could care less, though. To me it's like this: your eyes are for me only, if you want me to commit to you, because I will give you the same in return...otherwise don't ask me to be committed to you!!! Men use hormones as an excuse to make it okay. I have hormones too! I'm young and horny too! But it's EASY for me to not even notice a muscular tan man. I feel like I am being walked on and I'm not going to take that, sorry. No woman should.
You couldn't see what he was thinking, how do you know he wasn't thinking "omg what a dog" or something like that, just because he's on a diet, don't mean he cant look at the menu, surely you yourself look at other guys? looking is not cheating.
Because I called him on it and he just denied it. I'm sure if that's what he was thinking, that's what he would have said, because I would have believed it.
Down to earth and real seems incredibly beautiful to me. With that said, when you were a kid did you ever have a favourite toy? Like you would drag it around with you everywhere you went. Then you'd get a new toy and you'd play with it for a day but ultimately you would always end up back with your favourite toy? Well this is kind of one of those situations. You are the beautiful real girlfriend who understands him and knows what he likes, and then someone different is in the room and it's strange and new and interesting to see what she's all about. But then at night, he's snuggleing up to you. Ultimately he loves you. So a pretty girl caught his eye,big deal...he's in a relationship not dead. I don't think it's JUST jealousy I think he oogled a bit there, but be confident in the fact that you sat there in your pajamas with no makeup on while this girl probably spent an hour getting ready and you still have him. That sais something.
This makes it sound really sweet. It also makes women sound like objects, not actual living breathing things with feelings. If only he just admitted to it.
Tsk. I know and have never known any "female" in any walk of life who has admitted this to me. I've known of one woman like this and she's talked about with fear and revulsion by the other women around me. Actually, that's because she wants to be a housewife. But I assume the young marriage goes along with this.
You're just being a tad bit too jealous in my opinion. Do the same what he did, see how he reacts. Try not to take it too seriously though. I'd understand if he would have been flirting right infront of you. If he was, smack him a good one.
zfinity has pretty much made up her mind, instead of coming in here for advice she's just been trying to convince herself that he's in the wrong... and weaselpop it must be pretty different in the UK compared to the US cause i've known too many girls that want serious commitment to the point of marriage... and so far wild-flowers has the best theory i've read yet
Thank you all for your opinions, and ya blackbox87, I have made up my mind already. As I stated originally I came here not for advice, but for different perspectives. Thanks again everyone!
I wouldnt think nothing of it. Now if he starts acting differently, then react. He just probably seen another pretty lady or a cake face. a girl that wanted just attention, and they get it. just because their eyes are wondering, doesnt mean they automatically like them. Now if he wanted to be a true dick, he'd say to you to dress nice and shit. But he didnt. He still likes the down to earth chicks. Probably always will. Sounds like you're a little insecure but Id be too if there was another pretty girl and my boyfriend couldnt stop staring. And instead of giving him the evil eye and burning him with jealous stares, get his attention by talking too and joining the group.
If you expect him never to look at another woman, you're crazy. Everyone does -- women too. I would never expect someone I was with not to check out other guys, and you shouldn't either. Looking means nothing.
but theres a difference between staring and just looking. His situation he might as well stare. That would disappoint anyone who likes anyone
