I have heard that we all are bi from birth & the rest sorts itself out as life goes along. That flies in the face of other theories & fuels some others but anyhow... I would have to say that you may be. I hope you folks don't get tired of me using my own experience to talk about these things & if you do please tell me so I can rephrase my stuff. OK? As I keep saying I didn't figure it out until I was in my late 20's but there were 3 guys that I was in love with unrequitedly before that. In hindsight these were harbingers of my real self but at the time it was just something that I tried to repress because I was afraid to be gay. Having said that the usual tests pop into mind. Are you excited sexually by these guys or is it more of a spiritual love? Are or have you ever been turned on by guys in any fashion. Does gay porn do anything for you? Is this love or is it infatuation or maybe just a desire for sex? I'm sure there is a plethora of things that can help you figure this out but when it comes down to it does it matter? If you want to go into this as another expression of your sexuality without labels, expectations, or other things that could be considered preconceived notions wouldn't that be a more fulfilling experience than anything that you could conclude from the information currently available? I am a big ruminator/ponderer/thinker through/overthinker. That meant that from the time I really started figuring this out until I actually did anything about it was something like 3 maybe 4 years. I totally missed out on bath houses in Minneapolis in that time. OK, maybe that helped me dodge the AIDS bullet but also maybe not. Some statistics say that it wasn't in the area when I lived there. It did mean that I missed out on something that I hear was a darn good time. I'm digressing but my point is in there somewhere. I guess I'm saying that life is too short not to experience what you want to. You have to just go with it & take opportunities when they come. Sitting & thinking is a good thing. I still stick to that but you do it too much & you miss out

I guess I've always related sexuality to the emotions involved, and not necessarily the sex. I do believe that people can try sex together without being considered the corresponding sexuality. Sex vs. Sexuality. Not only that, but fantasy and reality are two very different things. You might have these fantasies about MacGyver or Snake Plitskin, but if actually confronted my one of these guys in real life, would you go through with anything? Could you? You might be discovering that you're bi. Or you might just be having (not so) innocent fantasies that you'd never go through with. I dunno.
