Am I A NUDIST OR EXHIBITIONIST

I think you're a little bit of both. I understand that you're comfortable without your clothes. Wearing revealing clothes shows to me, at least, that you want to draw attention to yourself as well meaning that you want to show off your body, hence an exhibitionist.

I hate all labels! Why do some people feel the need to label themselves in every way.

I love being looked at when I am nude and I will quite deliberately " display". I take a man's arousal as a compliment and love watching him grow knowing that I am the cause.
However try to take a photo and I am gone , I hate pics of me.

 

Well for me as a life long nudist since my early 20ś, i will say that walking for miles on a beach is very cool,,im not one that likes tan lines on myself or my wife,when we met i took her to a nude beach on our 1st trip to the beach together,,she did not realize it was nude until we stopped and set up our lil spot,,and she realized she was the only one on the beach that was not naked ,so after that day,,it was hard to get her clothes back on...So for us its about freedom,and for the most part the people you meet (couples) are very open and friendly.It does not matter if your broke or a millionare ,we all tend to be on a level ground when nude.

 

Yep, took my wife to a clothing optional resort . Told her she didn't have to get naked. She was naked five minutes after being there. Still talks to this day about the thrill of stripping down in front of four naked guys watching her

 

Same here; although it took more like an hour for my wife to get naked. Even though she loved soaking nude in the hot-tub, it would take some more time for her to get comfortable with people seeing her openly naked.
That happened at a nudist BnB we visited. Everyone there was naked. At the C/O resort there were always other women covering up; but at the BnB my wife felt it was "out of place." So she went back to our room - and shyly - came out naked. Everyone congregated on the deck; and that would be the first time she interacted with people while being fully nude in front of them. That day changed everything. I could see her confidence steadily increasing and her energy changing throughout that weekend. Ever since then, when we go to the resort, she is naked from the moment we park until we leave.

What did it for her? Being seen naked by people - just as naked as her - boosted her confidence. That gave her the freedom to just enjoy tanning or doing activities naked without worrying about what people were seeing. Whether one enjoys being seen, is oblivious to it, or simply stops caring; it's the positivity of it that makes social nudity so enjoyable.

I like that way of thinking and I've always said clothing is highly overrated especially around the home. And coming from a guy who was raised in a strict conservative household that's saying a lot, especially when if one of us wore something halfway inappropriate that showed too much anything we were scolded and sent back upstairs to put something else on decent for going into public. Then as an adult I began to sway the opposite direction with it and love to be naked or near naked if I can, and love to show off and make love in risky places where the chance of being seen or caught is extremely high.

 

I think that many people raised in a very conservative house grow up and end up much less conservative. Then again I have seen the opposite as in a person growing up with very liberal parents and the kids becoming very conservative. I think people just need balance. I grew up in a conservative house and now am a nudist and have been to lifestyle resorts. While my wife and I do not swing, it is nice to be around the sex charged atmosphere. Being in the hot tub and watching a couple on a bed 15 feet a way have sex as really nice. Beats porn any day of the week.

 

I can only imagine. That has to be a thrill even for non swinging conservative people. Nothing like nearby, live real sex to watch and hear to get the mood going.

Nudist side:
I love being naked at home even if I’m alone or just my wife is present. It’s great to exercise in my basement nude….why make more laundry???? It’s feels freeing to stay nude after my shower for a while …before starting real life.

Exhibitionist side:
I’ve been to nude beaches and a nudist club. Once I was on vacation and at a C/O beach and for quite a while, my wife and I were the only ones there.
That sucked! After quite a while, others showed up….thank God. Yes, I truly enjoy others looking at my body and dick in particular. In contrast to a pure nudist, I am definitely sexually aroused by this.

Aspects other than nudism and exhibitionism:
In a social nude setting, I also get a lot of pleasure from looking at other nude women and men. So…I check the voyeurism box (definitely not pure nudism!).
Lastly, I truly love my wife naked and viewed by other men. There’s many times that I have cum during masturbating or fucking her while thinking about her standing naked and talking to naked men! So…candaulism?

I guess there might be some pure nudists….i bet most people who go nude at a beach are a blend of some of the above. For most “I’m a nudist and it’s non sexual” is bullshit that allows them or their spouse to enjoy ALL the aspects of being naked around others and feel less guilt about the sexual aspect they truly enjoy.
