i'm on the road and don't have any totally pure aloe vera, which i like to use very sparingly on my dreadies from time to time to condition them.. i got some bottled aloe for potential sunburns in california, and it has diazolidinyl urea, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, and a few other things in it. what do you think about using it occasionally in dreads? i'd love an informed response about how you think it might affect the dreads, since obviously these compounds were intended for use upon skin... i don't want to load my locks up with chemicals, but i really need some moisture right now, and have always wondered about this.
yeah, i read up on the chemicals and i'm thinking i shouldn't. but grr why can't they sell pure aloe all over the place? i'm in las vegas right now
WHY ARE YOU INSIDE!?!?! im sure there are aloe plants all over vegas, they are all over phoenix, make sure to find one with the skinny leaves
well of course i will look i'm inside because i'm travel-worn sleeeepy! should i put a quarter in a slot machine tomorrow?
