So, most of my family lives in Florida and I have friends there, since I *did* live there most of my life. My brother told me this story on the phone, this past weekend... My brother and parents went fishing, along with my uncle (dad's youngest brother) and a few friends. My brother's friend Stacy had about a quarter with her, and my dad and the other friends all smoke (brother, stepmom and uncle are the only ones that don't). So on the way back to my parents' house for dinner, a cop came along (they were on a back road) and pulled Stacy over. My dad and stepmom were in the back of the car, with my brother in the front (Stacy driving, obviously). The cop sniffed around for a second and then asked if he could search the car... Stacy didn't know about the whole "not until you have a search warrant" law, so she looked back at my dad, who was shaking his head "no", before she turned to the cop and said "No". So the cop ended up keeping them there for TWO HOURS trying to get a search warrant... but considering they live in the States, it could have been much worse if Stacy had just let them search the car. Thank the "gods" dad was there to save the day, because Stacy and Tyson (my brother) didn't know that you could tell them "no" if they don't have a search warrant... so, hooray for dad!
Oh. Probably. I just assumed the quater would have been smoked between five or so people on a fishing trip.
Well, it was just dad, Stacy and the two friends that were smoking... and it was a day trip, so only an hour or so (night fishing lasts 4-5 hours, but day trips are much shorter). So yeah, it was just weed... but considering they live in Florida (I live in BC) the consequences for such a thing wouldn't have been pretty, the cops around those parts are all on some hardcore power-trip bullshit, it seems. They treat weed like it's pure uncut coke or something. Ridiculous.
Haha, I can get pure uncut coke (we have a friend who can get pure-anything if we give him enough money and time to find it) ...but I'd probably be pretty dangerous with pure uncut coke, haha. I'll stick to the MDMA, on occasion.
