...is when we visit graves of our loved ones, pray, bring flowers and light candles. It's really a very peaceful day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNURAQnar6Y"]Requiem aeternam, Introito gregoriano, Missa pro Defunctis - YouTube
Hello, same here. There is a traffic jam in front of my home because of all the people who want to visit the graves come with their own cars. Regards Gyro
Why do you need a holiday to do that? Also, the connection between and Vatican and the occult is just staggering. This is funny, of course, because the Vatican tells people to fear the occult. Catholicism is an evil, sick religion, and what goes on behind the scenes is even worse. How many gullible idiots give tons of money to the Catholic church? And for what?? But I digress.
I go to the cemetery daily when I walk my dog in the evenings. Even Grace (dog) knows where Mom's grave is when we visit. I agree that we can do this any day instead of a particular day but many people do not necessarily live near their loved ones. In our cemetery many people come around on several holidays during the year.
Of course people do it on other days too, whenever they want, but yeah...I don't see anything wrong with a holiday too.
As long as it makes the people visiting feel better. My opinion is you die, you don't exist anymore, so a holiday or whatever wouldn't make any difference when you're dead. Excuse my rough words.
Sounds similar to Día de los Muertos. Happy All Saints Day to everyone who celebrates it, and R.I.P. to your loved ones who have passed.
Well, I am sure most of these people never go to visit the graves of their loved ones, yet some brainwashing religion has them going because everyone else is, because it's laid out for them in some stupid holiday. Just seems kind of lame.
How about all you scrooges go be bitter elsewhere, and let the rest of us enjoy our holidays. No one here welcomes or appreciates your negativity. Kthnxbai. :daisy:
