Okay, basically it's an African dictator who we need to take down.

 

I know this Kony guy is wrong and all... But damn, this shit is getting annoying. All you see on youtube, twitter, facebook, etc... is everyone talking about this guy.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not annoyed with the cause, i think its a great cause... take one more freak out of this world. But, the annoying part is all these people (not everyone, just some) acting as if they give a shit when they really don't, they couldn't care less... as long as they continue living their luxurious lifestyle. All these endless amounts of people yelling out to the world "Stop Kony! 2012!" from their facebook profiles is kind of pointless... We get it, he's there... now lets send out a few troops and take him down, bam... it's done.

Don't waste you're money with the Invisible Children thing, either. Sounds like a ripoff, everyone wants to make a little money off of everyone else's misery. I'm not saying don't help, just do it in other ways, and when i say "help" that does't mean you post a comment on facebook/youtube/twitter then sit back and do nothing, acting as if you made a huge difference.

 

Hey man I apologize on behalf of all of us annoying activists. We didn't mean to disrupt your personal enjoyment of online and tv entertainment. What you are going through is truly horrible. I honestly hope that you will make it through these atrocious times.

Actually not a dictator, just a rebel or a "warlord" with an army that's killing civilians. There's no politics involved which is why other countries don't want to get involved. He kidnaps kids, makes them kill their parents, turns the girls into sex slaves/prostitutes and the boys become his soldiers. Any that refuse or try to escape die.... These kids are like 12-14 years old.

I didn't watch the video by the way. I don't have the attention span to watch videos. I just google searched it and read about his crimes against humanity.

I get extremely depressed hearing that shit like this goes on in the world because its such a helpless feeling. If I knew $30 went towards something that will actually take this guy down, I would donate. I don't want to donate $30 just to get some poster kit with a bracelet so that other first worlders will see my jewelry and think "oh wow we're part of the same cause!" and meanwhile this guy is still walking around.

Congrats to anyone that purchased the kit. you've just successfully supported.....the making of a documentary. plus 32% of your $30 went towards....something. I don't know what the fuck page 6 means because that website only has one page.

 

I was hoping to find a more wide range of information about this on here. But it`s all mostly pro IC. I have no problem with the cause. But the whole thing overall is majorly flawed. And so is the video. I am too tired to re-form a proper post. So I will just re-post something I recently discussed.

"That was quite the video. Some of it I agree with and some I certainly dont. A lot of it is straight lies. But that could easily be unintentional. And there is likely many other parts to take account on. I will continue searching for what I can right away here.
A man like that does need to be known. People need to know that evil like that is alive and very well in this world. And that this man is a product of a disease. He has accumulated that mindset because he was surely shown at a young age what this planet is about. Which in his mind is domination. When he was young he was likely influenced, either personally or otherwise, by whites coming in and raping and killing his brothers and sisters as if they were dogs. And manipulating them into diamond slavery. We have fucked up Africa as much as we have the middle east. And as we have learned from that, the UN and NATO only go into countries that they will benefit from. In the middle east its oil. In Africa, the diamond trade is going quite well for them. So unless it can get better, they wont do a single thing. For all we truly know, Kony is getting diamonds for some centralized European corporation. If they wanted this man gone they could assassinate him within 6 months. And in the video they said they need money for the equipment to help track him down, and for other things. That is untrue. Our culture doesnt just own the earth, they also own all of space. And everything in their grasp. (In their minds anyway). So something as insignificant as that would not even phase them. And because of that, I am sure there is a lot more to this story.
Now I want to take this further too. The list quickly mentioned at 12:40 of this video, Is what the United Nations and NATO are involved in. Plus a whole lot more. Like sex trafficking and drug smuggling for example. And seeing as that is the organization currently policing the world, I think that needs very direct action and attention.
The problem of this is the mindset. Western civilization has spread across the planet and killing everything in its way. And in doing so, spread its own disease. And that is what needs to get wiped out. Then the Indigo`s can purify this Earth once again. After the smoke settles. We just need to bring it all down while there`s still life.
There is a very dark future ahead. But we have to give it all we possibly can."`

 

Orison, what source is that from? I was quite certain there were some other things going on. If its true, the american troops are probably deployed there checking things out. And seeing how the middle east wars play out, and the superpower struggles, and will then contemplate going to war with one of those named African dictators. For oil. Hmm. There is oppression going on all over the world -- not just in Africa. And the US doesn't intervene unless they have something to gain, and Africa is already enslaved and exactly where the rich and powerful want them to be, so they can come in and rob and pillage the natural resources via the transnationals. Most of these dictators are backed by the US (and the IMF and World Bank) to keep the people of the African continent oppressed and enslaved. That is a fact. If the video does not touch on this, it is a farce and a waste of time. Also, there are children being sold into sex rings by your own government.

 

I like the idea of going after this guy, I just don't think it's going to solve as much as people hope. What's to stop someone from taking his place? And the fact that they ask you to purchase ANYTHING makes it a bit shady. If their goal is to simply spread the word, we don't need an "action kit". They could just put up a high res posters for us to print and leave it at that. The video seems really high budget, and they've even got some sorta tracking system setup with the bracelets so you can post your photos.

I just looked into it and only about 31% of the donations actually went to the charity program.
