Alien gives me a dollar for a broken television set ..

Im setting television set out for trash. And this I know trashman wont take the tv set, but I set it out anyway. Low and behold an alien from the future strolls by and said "can I have that tv set?" and I said "sure you can take it".. he said, "I tell you what Ill give you a dollar for it" and I said "its free man you can have it, it dont even work" he said "no no there is 5dollars worth of silver in there its only right I give you a dollar for it" Insisted and give me the dollar, carried tvset away..

Now this is the strangest thing. Is there really 5dollars worth of silver in there? wtf was this guy from, he looked like one those prisoner guys in alien 3..
