I actually don't know...I went hiking there, but didn't bring my camera, and I was searchin' for random stuff on the internet one day, and I was like woah! I was there, I thought maybe the appilachian trail of california...but I was definetly was there, its not like I just stole it to look cool...
i saw this in the paper as well was very disappointed, i signed the online petition against it and everything... they say the animals will be caused minimal harm i think i read, and it still has a few more stages in the process (like trippin said) so there is SOME hope i guess. its passed before but clinton vetoed it, or did he veto it before it pass?idk i should pay better attention, bush is a fucking bimbo though... shouldnt we get some greener energy source technology going though instead of continuing to greenhouse gas the planet with all the planets oil at one time.......

Why do we have to keep destroying all the natural beauty the earth has? Alaska is one of the few untouched lands in the USA, why do the politicians have to go ahead and spoil it? If people did more carpooling and stopped buying SUVs and other such gas guzzlers then we wouldn't need to drill a wildlife reserve for oil. there's going to be an oil spill that's going to wipe out a whole bunch of animals, I just know it. Its like when humans first started going to the galopagos Islands. Now there's poor Lonsome George the last of his spiecies of turtle. That's going to happen in Alaska, its going to cut down on those poor creature's natural habitats!
