airplane question

i'm 18, but if i bought a bowl in california and brought it on the plane with me like in my carry on bag will that cause any problems? it would be unused, im just wondering cause im traveling with my parents and would have to hide it from them, and we arent checking any of our bags so that isnt an option. like would they have any reason at all to question a glass bubbler if it was all wrapped up in paper and inside my carry on bag?

 

if it looks like a bomb maybe, but if it doesnt look dangerous they probably wont care.

yeah if its an unused glass piece then your pocket should be fine

 

it depends on where you are taking it.. some states have made glass pipes illegal because they are considered "drug paraphernalia"

 

Just look up the laws in the states your going to be in.

If it's unused it isn't illegal.

 

As long as your not crossing Mex. Can. borders and the pipe has never been used, it should be fine. Go with the pocket method if it will fit and there is absolutely no metal parts, check for a screen.

 

definitely wouldnt fit in my pocket. im going to california so i'll buy it there and bring it back to pennsylvania. but like they wouldnt have any reason to take it out or anything? im just worried they'll want to check it out for whatever reason and my parents will see it.

Err theres something with the pipe laws there. I saw something about it in the tommy chong documentary where he goes to jail for glass.
